Yes, the SP will focus on Aso & Aya's sister Ako half a year after Aya's death. There will also be flashbacks into Aya's lifetime so Erika is definitely going to appear in the SP as well.

A Special (SP) is a usually a 2-hour 1 episode kind of thing...It will be on aired on April 5th, from 9 to 11 pm. That's only one day.

This is the most heart-wrenching drama i've ever watched. I mean, i've seen plenty that made me cry, but never a drama that's made me bawl my eyes out every. single. episode. It made my eyes swollen for each day i watched it.

Gosh, not only that, being told this is a true story, it adds onto the sadness. Though, it's a very touching and emotional story. I love the music ... it always makes me go teary whenever i hear it.

The main girl plays her role extremely well, i mean you know considering what character she needed to portray. She did a fantastic job. I know this Aso was only a fictional character, but it'd definitely be nice if we got to see more of him. XD

I love this drama. I'm going to re-watch this drama for sure.

I LOVED AKO! infact i just recently rewatched a couple scenes of this drama

when ako was yellin at her brother.. that part made me cry soooo much.

why wasn't asou at the memorial thing one year after she died? or her siblings? or her school friends? or her disability school people?
episode 8 made me cry so much. DD:

because he's an imaginary character. they wanted to keep that part realistic

^ i'm pretty sure she did, considering in her diary, it said she was getting ready for disablity schoool and stuffs.
aw, i wish they did put him in though...i would've liked to see haruto's reaction...but iguess they wanted to keep it accurate.

so exactly why was asou's character created?
i heard that it was because the real aya wanted a boyfriend....

i never cried soo much because of a drama before....

i really love this drama so much..
it is sad but such a beautiful show at the same time..
it gives me alot of strength in the things im goin to do..
and makes me more determine in doin things..

this was such a nice drama, although I have to admit that I thought middle part of the series was a lot more bearable than the beginning and the end, now those parts made me tear up.

Aya's real mother asked the scriptwriter to put in Aso's character because her daughter never experienced love in her life.

^aww. that's so sad~

but it actually made the story more interesting, in my opinion... but even if they didn't include Asou, i think this drama would still be awesome! ^^

yesss, few weeks more!!! i really really wanna see this SP!!

this was my first jdrama and i'm really happy that it was my first.

i fell in love with the cast. erika and ryo were a good match ^^ personally, i really don't like cliche themes where the girl has an incurable disease and dies etc.. maybe because it was based on a real story, it had inspired me more or had attracted me more.. whatever it was, it made this drama to one of my favorites.

i'm really happy that it wasn't draggy at all.. omg. flaws of k drama right there. not that kdramas are bad.. just really really long.

i would recommend anyone to watch it. there are scene that makes you smile and makes you sad( although i don't think i shedded a tear except for that one episode with ako defending aya. )

it really makes u think about ur family and how much u appreciate just being alive.

The situation at first seemed really overused and boring, but after watching a few episode's, I found that it's really unique.
I loved (and cried though) every bit of it.
It's definitely one of my favorite dramas!

I can't remember which episode, but he's Aya's senpai. They kinda introduced him right after Aya and her friend got the results on the board. He doesn't play a BIG part in the series but he appeared quite often in the some episodes.

He appeared in episode 2 and some of the other episodes.
You probably couldn't recognize him because of the hair. lol

i FINALLY finished this drama a few days ago after SOO long!
omg i have never cried soo much in a drama and i have never cried in every single episode in a drama!
this drama is the most saddest but also most inspiring drama i have ever seen!
Aya has been an inspiraton throught the whole drama.. i just get touched by her words and makes me rethink about life and treasure it more. i cant wait to see the SP! RYO <333

Finally finished the drama last week. Duuuuuuuuude, I cried so much, especially at the end.
It's very emotional (in a good way) at the end.
I love how it's based on a true story.
