Wahh i couldn't bare watching all of this because it was sooo sad >.<

I finished this drama in just 3 days! One of the saddest drama I've watched so far.

but I only teared 4 times throughout the whole thing, & so some of my friends said that I have a steel heart. XD

Anyway, Erika Sawajiri has natural beauty! She's not the kind of girls with gorgeous looks, perfect straight teeth, or model-like figures, yet still, I really like it when she portrayed Aya Ikeuchi's character so well. Kawaii ~

& I'm speechless about Ryō Nishikido! I have to say, he's my latest eye candy. ^^ Not forgetting Dr Mizuno, if only all doctors on Earth were as benevolent as him. <3

Oh yes, I read somewhere that there was going to be a Special for this drama, but I missed the broadcasting time! >< So I guess I'll just wait for some kind souls to upload with English subtitles. Will be back to check this thread often. ;D

[spoiler]overall i it was ok.. the Sp most of the parts were Flashbacks. there was only one new scene, it was with Aya and her mother.
i cried so much when Asou tried to call Aya's cellphone, and the answering machine went on, and when he broke down thinking of her... and when aya's mom gave Asou the painting that Ako painted of the family he said "he didn't do anything for her" that just made me cry so much.[/spoiler]

Just watched the SP...I won't put any spoilers here but I just have to say 1LOT is very different without Erika (flashbacks not included)...I think Erika completely stole the show in 1L but without her the SP was a little dull. HOWEVER, it did remind me of how good 1L was and just thinking about it makes me want to rewatch it for the 4834626th time. =D

the younger sister is one of my favorite child actresses, i think she's about 14-15. looks very nice playing a grown-up w/ all that make up and so on. still looks like a teenager more than an adult though XD

Last night I finish watching the SP episode. Since I have seen that drama long time ago, watching the SP brings back memories.
Even though it's only flash back from the drama but I still cried while watching it.

Awww I just finished it a couple minutes ago. It was really sweet and touching but I didn't really cry as much as I expected to hahaha....Ryo Nishikido and Naohito Fujiki are deliciously gorgeoussssss though ahaha and Erika Sajiwara was so cute (but it did kind of bother me how Yumi's dad looked all decrepit and stuff and she still looked all perfect and beautiful at the same stage...oh well, I guess that's just the way dramas go XD)

Does the sp have English subs yet?? It just came out a few days ago right? Hopefully it'll offer more closure with Asou-kun than the actual ending did =|

I just watched the SP...and while most of it was flashbacks of moments from the drama, I think it's great that Haruto was able to talk about Aya for the first time with Mizuki. It was heartbreaking to see him cry when he dialed her number on his cell, but I'm glad he didn't cut himself off from other people like how Ako thought at first. Incidentally, I think Ako looks really good in a nurse's uniform (she looks a little young, perhaps) Watching the SP made me want to watch the series again..I think I might to over to YouTube and watch it tonight heheheh...

Oh yeah, and Ryo was absolute hotness! He looks better in the SP than he did in the drama..is it because of the doctor's coat?
