Seo Taiji. I never get sick of listening to him. And his style has spanned so many genres over the years, it's like an all-in-on package. Or, uh. Something.

Only one group for the rest of my life? Probably Wutang Clan.
Unless this only applies to singers, which then I must change my answer to Janet Jackson.

Michael Jackson!
Hands down with no questions asked. He has sooo many songs, all of different genres. I would have songs for every mood and feeling, from rock, to soul, to pop, to folk, to classical and even a small bit of rap (Very small, but still there)... The man isn't the King of Pop for nothing.

LOL....damn I guess you don't mind the fact that he's a pedophile. Sad sad....hahhaha
I could never be a fan of someone/artist who sells out or does some crazy mini cooper like that....
example...Metallica-used to be the best metal band in the world until they sold out....I no longer listen to them.

Why would his being accused (not proven, mind you) to be a pedophile affect how you view his earlier works, which have
nothing to do with what he is today? Yeah, some people still support him as a musical artist because he's damn talented and did a lot for the music industry. I dare say many genres wouldn't be what they are today without Michael Jackson. Not to mention if you knew anything about his past you'd realize that it's fully possible that it's not his fault he turned out how he did.

Aug 12 2006, 10:52 AM
So we're supposed to feel sorry for him? He's so guilty it's not even funny anymore and you yourself knows it.
Of course he made good music back then, but that don't erase the fact he likes little boys. And that is just disturbing.

Michael Jackson was found INNOCENT by 12 jurors, thanks very much. If he was found guilty by 12 jurors would you sit back and say, "Well actually, maybe he was innocent." no you wouldnt.
I spent time INSIDE that courtroom in May of last year and you think you know about the case but you DONT. It was the biggest set up of a lifetime and as a result, some poor eccentric man who just liked to hang out with kids cos they DIDNT brand him and label him as a freak (as you are doing), lost his livelihood and positive reputation.
He's done more for charities and the poor and sick and dying than anyone else in the world (yes, including everyones good hero bono)... he's done it silently his whole career (I know this because it came up in regards to finances in court) -- so maybe before you start shooting your mouth off, maybe you can stop and ask yourself just what it is that you have contributed to the world...
Graduating highschool doesnt count. Those who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones, mate.
Oh and btw, you know whats disturbing to me? That a person could be so friggin ignorant and malicious.

LMAO!!! Hilarious! Believe in what you want but MONEY TALKS! It's a shame the justice system is such a disgrace in america. First OJ Simpson got away with murder, and now Michael Jackson got away with having sex with little boys. Pretty disturbing to know you can get away with anything if you got the dough. You just prove again that hardcore micheal jackson fans will say and do whatever to back him up. Hrmm....I wonder why he had that BOGUS marriage with Elvis' daughter? LOL Oh well ....sucks for you. haha

Oh yeah, money talks. We're talking about the U.S judicial system. Money bribes don't work. This was about a criminal case, you moron, it wasn't a civil case. Do you even know the difference?
Bogus marriage to Elvis daughter?
Isnt it so much effort to sling mini cooper at someone you don't know, never met? You're kinda sad... why don't you build a bridge and get over it. Whatever your saying isnt anything I haven't already heard. People like you with blockheads can't open their narrow little minds for half a second to know that things aren't always actually what they seem to be.
You sound like someone who's from Redneckville in Texas or something. Rah rah rah... I like Michael Jackson, I think he's innocent, so do other people. Maybe you should just accept that and get on with your life.

^----yea, agreed. Why is this thread focusing on M.Jackson? We all have different ideas on whether or not MJackson is guilty or not. We can't change the jury's mind, but this thread isn't even about that...geeez....

;
I think....wait...even if I choose an artist, can I still listen to OLD music? Like Queen?
If not, then I pick Queen
If so, then...I dunno! My likes changes so often. I get A.D.D. Er...maybe...GooGoo Dolls..or Matchbox 20

Who said anything about a civil case? LOL So was OJ Simpson's case a civil case as well? So tell me that you would trust leaving your future son(s) to sleepover at his house? And explain why he paid that white kid $20 million dollars? Pretty obvious pedophile for all I care. Enough now, I'm pissing you off too much already lol.
Queen...that's a good choice. Legendary band.

Yngwie Malmsteen ...God of Guitar
OMG, Yngwie. You must be a guitar player then.
Yeah, Yngwie inspired many electric guitarists to go play major/minor scales up and down for hours a day.
But he has since been surpassed in technique. Vinnie Moore (one of the cleanest speed players I've ever heard; no string noise even when playing live, the guy was scary), Paul Gilbert (do you remember his Racer X days with fellow shredder Bruce Bouillet), the late Shawn Lane (even Paul Gilbert thought Shawn Lane was scary).
LolitaMan
Aug 14 2006, 08:18 AM
^ Surpassed? I'd have to disagree. Paul Gilbert is my 2nd fav though. I'd put Tony MacAlpine above Vinnie Moore. Somehow I never heard Shawn Lane's music before.

And just for the record..... us MJ fans have to stand up for Michael, because just about EVERYTIME (in my experience) when threads like this come up and we answer...we always have to deal with people bashing and name-calling. Its really tough to have to go through it so much. But I'd rather have to go through standing up, instead of never involving myself in threads like this. We're people and fans of people just like everyone else. Its about the music, and shouldn't go past that. *huggiues* to all.
