so i've been stalking this thread for quite some time and never posted anything, but i've decided to finally post something! i really like their album so far. i mean.. the english kind of takes away a little bit, but still awesome! i'll be back to edit this when i've had an opportunity to listen to all of the album.

Just listened to the whole album.
I was pretty disappointed that some of the songs were songs I already had.
But nonetheless, I like I like!! ^__^

Make Love has got to be my favourite though.
I loved YB's version, but this one is awesome.
'Cause it has all the boys.. I instantly made it my ringtone, yay!

Candle was pretty cool.
They have a korean version and an english version, now a japanese version!
A Fool's Only Tear, Together Forever, Candle. Can't get enough of the song. ><

Remember had a pretty nice beat to it.
So did Come Be My Lady. I'm not all that mad. ;D

Even though there were many many repeats,
I'm still satisfied with the other songs they included.
Yay, Big Bang! (L) Good luck in Japan. Gambatte!!

Btw, does anyone know when they're finally going to release...
"How Long/Until Whenever", or if they actually plan on it?!

Big Bang 1st Japanese album released today

Anticipated not only by the Japanese fans but also the Korean fans, Big Bang’s first Japanese album ‘Number 1′ will be released on online charts today afternoon.

And also Big Bang’s second concert tour ‘Stand Up Tour 2008′ , after their March concert tour, in Japan has received overwhelming response with all 3 concert performances already been sold out.

‘Number 1′ album will have a total of 8 song with 6 new songs in it. The new songs are said to be of a different music style as what Big Bang is used to produce in Korea. Already, the title song ‘Number 1′ has received heat responses after its reveal on online sites previously.

YG Entertainment said, “The song ‘Number 1′ is produced with the participation of Sweden producing team ‘Silverroom’, and it features GDragon and TOP’s rap that gives off the bouncy feel (?), TaeYang’s sexy vocal and also SeungRi and DaeSung’s more matured vocal. The Big Bang members have brought their new song to another level.”

“The album will also include ‘Make Love’ from TaeYang’s solo album as sung in the R&B version by all 5 members, ‘Everything’ and ‘Remember’ amongst other songs.”

“Just like their previous album, the songs are record in English. And we are proud of the album, and even if this was be released in American now, we will expect good critiques from it. This is one album which will prove itself not only within the boundaries of Japan.”

i just listened to the album and i have to say REMEMBER is pretty catchy, and i love Seungri's voice in that one. i actually think his voice is so smooth on this album an Daesung definitely improved. Taeyang need alittle more, his tone is amazing though. TOP and GD, sounds hot.
Overall, i liked REMEMBER and the beat for COME BE MY LADY is so hot but not loving the lyrics, "all the gucci's and diors" , Japanese version of "A fool's only Tears" is a nice mix, since im not japanese, im not sure how accurate but regardless, they are talented. Everything is poppin', back in the 1990's music era feel. TOP's yo or rather "yao" haha. i love. GD was "all about the G". why so much materalistic things? REMEMBER<3 is best. big bang= NUMBER 1

Why are their intros sooooo hot???? Dating back to their first single to this new release, it's sometimes better than the actual tracks. Ohhhh...I really like the new version of Make Love. It was one of my favorite tracks on YB's solo. They changed it up a bit, but good nevertheless. YB, DaeDae, and Maknae sound so sweet. I actually like the lyrics for this one except the part about bumping and grinding...aigooo Tabi ya >.<. I love the beat on Remember...it's kinda different in a good way. Their pronunication has def improved. Ahhhh...I love how YB says no mo(re). Gawd I love his voice. I wish they did a Japanese version of Heaven. I think it would sound awesome in Japanese for some reason. I also love DaeDae's pronunication of luxury, Guccis, and Dior in Come Be My Lady. So cute~

I know right? I say give them maybe a couple of years (but preferably NOW for me XP) to polish up their english, and they need to get to the U.S. business.
I've been listening to the album all day, even when I'm driving and whatnot... I tried listening to the radio in my car, and I just couldn't stand it and go back to the BB album!! So I wanna tune in to BB on my radio someday, seriously. I'm loving these songs more than whatever's playing in America right now (but then again, I'm probably bias, LOL).

&& Gawd I think GD is special...not special ed special...but as in the words of Vicky...GOD must have spent extra special time in creating this wonderful creature. Hey isn't this a N'SYNC song??? Any ways...he is soooo unique in just a wonderful way. Okay I'm pushing it a bit with all this gushing like a mother, but yall know what I mean. One minute he reminds you of a little kid in a candy store acting all hyper and goofy, then another minute he looks like an angry emo kid (e.g. Numero photoshoot). Lalalalala...I think I officially entered into my GD phase...again. Up until today...I was in total DaeDae mode, but I guess I'm moving on. No worries Dae, I'll be back.

for me... I think 'All about the G's' (or whatever the title is) kills every other track on the album. Some of the other tracks remind me of TI or Chris Brown too much (don't get mad, its just my opinion).
I'm most impressed with Seungri's japanese (GIVE HIM MORE LINES) and Daesung's english (cause GD's english is usually pretty normal).

I feel like the intro is Top's american rapper dream. hahaha.

Anyway. it was a little disappointing cause we've all heard half of it before, but its super interesting and a good break away from their really melodramatic stuff in korea.

and yeah. Until Whenever needs to come out... ;;;
