지난 토요일 YG FAMILY 10주년 콘서트가 성황리에 잘 끝났습니다.
콘서트 후 빅뱅 관련 게시판들을 둘러보니 팬 여러분들의 많은 궁금증들이 증폭되어 있네요. 진작 알려드렸어야 함에도 당장 코앞에 닥친 콘서트 준비로 인해 그만 ㅠㅠ
죄송하다는 말씀과 함께 빅뱅에 관련된 진행 사항을 말씀드릴까 합니다.


관련 게시판을 통해서 많은 여러분들의 의견을 종합해본 결과

1. 타이틀곡의 스타일이 의외다. 왜 좀 더 빠르고 강한 곡으로 나오지 않았는가?
2. 1곡을 홍보하기에도 바쁜 신인을 왜 2곡으로 나누어서 활동시키려 하는가?
또한 멤버는 다섯 명인데 너무 특정 멤버만 밀어주는 것이 아닌가?
3. 탈락된 장현승군은 어떻게 되는가?

위와 같은 내용에 대해 많이들 궁금해하시는 것 같습니다.

우선 1번과 2번의 경우 제 주위에서조차 매우 우려했던 부분입니다.
느린 곡 보다는 멋진 안무와 춤을 출 수 있는 빠르고 강한 음악을 선보여야 한다는 것이 제 주위의 지배적인 반응이었기 때문인데요...
이처럼 많은 사람들의 조언에도 불구하고 제가 끝까지 고집을 부린 이유는 많은 사람들의 선입견과 예상을 벗어나고 싶었기 때문입니다. 다시 말해 빅뱅의 음악 스타일에 대한 다양한 가능성을 열어두고 싶었기 때문입니다.

더더욱 팬여러분들의 기대와 달리, 죄송하게도 빅뱅의 첫번째 싱글 앨범은 특별한 활동을 계획하고 있지 않습니다. 물론 TV 활동계획도 없습니다. 그 이유는 첫번째 싱글의 경우 특정한 1곡에 대한 단기적이고 집중적인 프로모션보다는 좀더 장기적인 계획으로 홍보해나갈 계획이기 때문입니다.

그 계획의 일환으로 이미 선보인 [we belong together]의 뮤직비디오 외에 [눈물뿐인 바보]의 뮤직비디오는 첫 싱글 앨범 발표일인 오는 29일에, 그리고 [this love]의 뮤직비디오는 오는 9월초에 선보일 예정입니다.
빅뱅의 본격적인 활동은 9월에 발표할 두 번째 싱글 앨범부터입니다.


[We Belong Together] 뮤직비디오 후반부에 잠깐 소개한 강한 비트의 힙합 음악 [VIP] 라는 곡과 빅뱅 다큐의 인트로 음악으로 사용되었던 [la la la] 그리고 영배 솔로곡이 수록될 두 번째 싱글에서는 여러분들이 기대하시는 것처럼 조금 더 비쥬얼한 면이 부각될 예정입니다.


그리고 8월 16일 예정이었던 빅뱅의 첫 번째 싱글 앨범 발표가 29일로 연기된 이유는 기존에 없던 특별한 모양의 케이스를 주문 제작하다 보니 예상보다 많은 시간이 소요되었고, 더불어 10회분의 빅뱅 다큐 프로그램 DVD를 첫 싱글 앨범에 보너스로 넣자는 저의 갑작스러운 제의에 많은 스텝들이 쌍코피를 흘리며 밤을 새워야 했던 합정동의 웃지 못할 사건 때문입니다.. ^^
팬 여러분들을 위한 배려에서 비롯된 일이니 이점도 양해해 주시길 부탁드립니다..


첫 번째 싱글 앨범의 경우 5명의 멤버들 중 리더인 G-DRAGON 에게 집중되어 있는 것이 사실인데요... 이는 6년이라는 오랜 시간을 기다리며 준비 한 G-DRAGON에 대한 작은 배려일 뿐 다른 멤버들 역시 차례대로 부각 시켜나갈 예정이오니 조금 더 시간을 두고 지켜봐주시길 부탁드립니다.


아쉽게 빅뱅의 멤버에서 최종 탈락한 장현승군은 YG에 계속 남아 연습할 예정입니다만, 현승이가 언제 데뷔 할 수 있을지? 아니면 다른 회사로 옮길지? 는 오직 현승이의 노력과 선택에 달린 문제라고 생각합니다..
저는 기회를 주는 사람일 뿐 결과를 만들어 주는 사람은 아니기 때문입니다.


[We Belong Together]의 여성 보컬로 뮤직비디오에도 직접 출연한 YG 의 연습생 박봄 양에 대한 궁금증도 많은 것 같은데요.. 박봄 양의 나이는 G-DRAGON 보다 4살이 많은 누나입니다. 팬들의 불필요한 질투는 소모전일 듯...^^

박봄 양의 경우 오디션에서 몇 번을 떨어지고도 3년 동안 계속해서 YG 문을 두드려 결국 연습생이 된 노력파 신인으로서 이르면 내년 봄에 선보일 예정입니다... (이름이 봄이라서가 아니라.. ^^) 박봄 양에 대한 추가적인 설명은 다음기회로 미룰게요.


아쉽게도 빅뱅의 첫번째 싱글 앨범의 활동 계획은 없지만, 그 대신 팬들을 만날 수 있는 몇 가지의 이벤트를 준비 중에 있습니다. 오는 9월 2일(토) 음반 매장인 광화문 교보 핫트랙스에서 첫 싱글 음반 발표 기념 싸인회를 개최할 예정이며 오는 9월 15일 세븐 콘서트를 진행했던 서울 AX홀에서 팬 여러분들을 대상으로 두 번째 싱글 앨범 공개 및 첫 번째 쇼케이스를 진행할 예정입니다.

they'll announce activities in Sept when they release the 2nd single album, which will include the "VIP" song and the theme from the docu "La La La"...but so far no activities for the 1st single.
(i can see why, they need to debut with a song where they can show their dance moves and rapping skills as a group, and the VIP or the Lalala song will do just that.)

Yang Hyun Seok talks about Jang Hyun Seung's (So-1) elimination from YG's new group, BIG BANG.

Last August 19, YG Family held their 10th Anniversary concert. In that event, BIG BANG was finally opened to the public.

The cut that was made from 6 members caused a lot of anxiety from fans who were against the management's action.

Today, August 21, Yang Hyun Seok left a message in YG Entertainment's homepage announcing that So-1 will remain in YG and will be given more training until it is his time to debut.

Last August 16, BIG BANG released online their first single, which will be available in stores on the 29th. The group is not yet planned to perform in TV programs.

to be real, i feel like the Big Bang fans are not united. as in, some are just teenyboppers, some don't really care about Big Bang besides 'Oh they're so hot.' it doesn't annoy me, it just feels weird. some of the big bang fans don't even like YG until now. that just kind of makes me mad.

I knew YG was going to make the most of this... lol. I'm so happy for SO-1 now I don't feel sad at all about BB now hehe.

But give Big Bang some time, they are sitll new, their fans will be more "united" in time. (; I've always liked YG, I love the style of music they put out. And when I first heard of Big Bang, I heard of them because they were backup dancers for Se7en. I thought they were good. And the reason why I got attracted to them was their talent - dancing, singing, rapping, & beatboxing... they are SO made for the entertainment industry. And now, their songs are excellent, and it's just their first few songs too... i can't wait till they get out even more advanced, better songs.

... okay, now i'm just ranting. --;; but the point is.. yeah, there WILL always be teenyboppers (like what Cindel25 said ). But hopefully they'll get past the image and come to appreciate the true talent of Big Bang. <3

Well, at least he still is in YG. It would be too depressing if they just kicked him out of Big Bang and YG Ent. At least he will be recieving more training. More training and he'll be really good. IE. Super Junior; Most have trained for 6 years. <3 Hyunseung.

those of you who do have their single.... is it mainly GD and TOP who rap all the time?

i saw the mv of We Belong Together and all i see is GD and TOP. i feel sorry for YB because he's been in yg for a long time and he barely came out in the mv

i read some of the replies that netizens had written on the big bang documentary webpage thing and some of them are saying/thinking that big bang was formed FOR G-Dragon... as mean as that sounds it kind of has me wondering
