i haven't heard the original since i was a kid... it'd be good to find the original again.

Yep, that would be Mariage D'Amour. It's by Paul de Senneville I believe. Great song, I learned it in piano too.

i was wondering where i recognised it from... and now i realise i probably heard it learning the piano too. wish i didn't drop out after a year but hey that was over a decade ago and i was young
