It was good, I liked it. I think I'll tune in for a couple more eps to see if it gets anymore interesting. The Japanese guy was funny. "Claire" ... wow, when she put her hand down the disposal and grinded up her fingers and hand...that was just gross but so cool that she heals as if nothing happened.

i was really excited about this show and i saw it last night.
it was just a tiny bit disappointing...i don't know why. it just seemed a little unorganized and scattered.
but i'm going to keep watching it and hopefully it'll get better.

yeah i agree. My only favorite character that i really wanted them to make a whole nother drama about was that blonde girl whose mirror reflection is pyscho or something like that. Her situation is really interesting. And the japanese guy he's not that interesting. THe painter is not that interesting. ....but yeah

I am really into this show, I watched the premire last night and it's really good, the storyline is really intresting. I will def be tuning in every week to see how it turns out.

i watched this show last night, & i actually loved it!
the story line is interesting, and i enjoy watching the character's stories.
i think the pilot just left people with alot of questions, but i think it'll all make more sense after watching more of the series.

Just finished watching and wow, I'm seriously impressed. After reading the initial reports about the show weeks and months back, I knew it was good, but not this good.

i watched the encore tonight. pretty good. i love superhero power related things so this show definitely interests me. i like how the characters are connected with each other, it reminded me of the movie "crash". and the hints with the glasses were good

I really can't believe that the guy who created/wrote Crossing Jordan, came up with this show.

I find it on the level of abc's LOST with all it's mysteries and intrigue.

Plus, I can't help but think that we are being shown clues in every episode/scene. Especially with the cover of the 9th Wonders comic book that Niki's son was reading.

Speaking of Niki... I have an idea of everyone's "powers"... but I'm still a little confused about hers (the stripper mom's). She has an evil-powerful double that can only be seen in mirrors and emerges only when she's knocked out?? o.O

I've heard speculation but not confirmation that her super power is that she has a guardian angel... but how is that a super power?

Think of it like an alter ego / shadow that manifests itself in the real world. I don't like the idea of her turning all bipolar and having the other personality do it through her body. About your spoiler, she did protect her, in the barest of terms lol.

What I'm worried about is how they got their powers, that's something I've been concerned about since it first surfaced.

I've been thinking about that too ever since Patient Zero was mentioned.

It makes me think that everyone's abilities are not the result of natural "evolution". Plus, there's that whole adopted cheerleader girl with the bad guy glasses dad (I need to learn their names...

). Now that cannot be coincidence.

i love this. i watched it last night when they reran it and i really like the story line. it's very nicely played. i do think that it is a little much to comprehend at one time but i think it'll eventually fit into the story as we see more of the episodes. :3

oh yeah, oops, i looked at the topic # wrong and thought your thread was second. oh well it's not a big deal, sorry though

did anyone notice how a lot of the dads were missing? peter/nathan's dad is dead (the shoplifting mom was referred to as "widowed"). mohinder's dad was said to be murdered at the beginning. niki's husband is apparently somewhere else, her son suggested getting help from him for her debts but she declined. ? claire's dad was the weird glasses guy, and her biological dad is absent. well, i don't know if it's significant, but still.

i think i was disappointed because i thought the show was gonna be about something else.

like...i didn't think they'd actually go out and unite and save the world.
i thought it would be more like how they develop their new found powers and how they deal with it in everyday situations.

but like i said earlier...there's still hope.

i actually missed the season premeire of it but i d.l it and watched it todaii and i thought it was pretty cool. i juss thought it was weird how they made it cause i kept jumping around from different scenes trying to get everyone stories out there. but i think i mite like this new seriess

I'm trying not to spoil it for everyone but I have a question: Was that cheerleader girl suicidal before? Because I wonder how she discovered her abilities after apparantly having many attempts to do so..and like breaking her bones, stabbing her chest..etc. That whole thing confused me.

i think she discovered her abilities before. since she's a cheerleader, maybe she fell and supposedly broke a bone & its suppose to hurt, but never got hurt because of her healing powers. or she might've cut her finger and it healed in an instant, so she was confused and decided to see what was going on with her. thats what i think. haha x]

this is a really good show. =] its really interesting and a great storyline.
i can't wait for next monday! but that mom with the son...her abilities
were freaky!! T_T

I believe they are playing a lot of the season premiers on USA or SCI-FI... you should check your local listings... I'm pretty sure there is another channel that is replaying HEROES, ep. 1.

i think they all had powers since every, but they slowly started developing more and more because of the eclipse, imean they made this HUge thing about it in the episode so it must have something to do with taht.

I downloaded episode 1 last night and damnnnn it was soo good! Hiro is my favorite character even though his powers are kinda boring. Claire's powers are sooo gross. How she put her hand in the grinder. >.< anyways, i love the phrase "super hiroo!"

I finally watched the first episode. It was very interesting. Sometimes it gets hard with so many characters that each have their own segments. I favor some characters more than others, so I get impatient. But other than that, the show has started with a pretty good start. I hope that it can it develop into a much more better show.

I read this in People: There is an evil guy with special abilities too, going around and offing people in "spectacular" ways and stealing their brains. That must be the guy who killed Mohin's dad (the professor). Perhaps the cheerleader's dad?
