Johnny Kitagawa is the owner and creator of Johnny's Entertainment. He basically covers 90-95% of the male groups in Japan... very very powerful. He has the power to influence music shows to ban other male group competitors from their shows. In his company, there are rumors that when the boys sign contracts with him (with most of the boys being around 13-114 when they join) that there are certain rules they MUST abide by... one of them being: DO NOT get caught with a girl!

Some Johnny's follow this rule, while others don't. My impression is that there is a VERY limited exception for those Johnnys who are exceptionally popular... so popular that Johnny himself understand that losing them from his company will cause a havoc (e.g. Kimura Takuya, Nagase Tomoya - although, I think this is more due to the fact that Ayumi's the queen of J-Pop... and currently, Kame... and possibly Jin and Yamapi sicne these three get A LOT of attention).

I respect Tomoya a lot because he's the type of guy who doesn't care that much about the media finding out about his relationship with Ayu and it seems like he just wants to be a normal guy and have a normal relationship with her. I really hope that they get married though because they seem to love each other SO much and I want them to prove Johnny Kitagawa and Avex wrong (there are rumors that Avex and Johnny tried REALLY hard to break them up over the years... including threatening Ayu that if she's not more careful with the media when they are dating, he'll fire Tomoya... and everyone KNOWS that Ayu is super protective over her boyfriend).

Yeah, As a Johnny's fan......I know that Johnny's boys are not allowed to get married......but if it's Nagase's case, I think it should be okay coz Nagase is 28 already and his relationship with Ayumi has been for a long time.....He can get married and Johnny-san now is focusing on the young boys like NEWS, KANJANI8, KAT-TUN, and Johnny Juniors...........I think he let the old boys do what they want but not let the media knows.........However, I still hope Nagase senpai will be able do what he wants as long as he's happy. he is getting older, and so is ayu, so i don't think marriage is as big of an issue with johnny's/avex as it would be for younger members to have a girlfriend or anything. AND everyone already knows they've been going out; it's not like it's a secret.
marriage is the next logical step for them, but i believe ayumi has stated she doesn't want to get married.

Ah, whenever I see paparazzi pics of these two together, they always look so cute and protective of each other.

I really hope they do get married one day. And yes, there's no rule in JE saying you can't get married, which is why even juniors can talk about past loves [even if they were in JE during the time], what they'd like in a girlfriend, and what age they want to marry. It's just that they have to be careful not to get into sex scandals or anything.
(Though, the whole KimuTaku thing, he actually gained some more fans because he took responsibility and he does love his wife, so yeah. So it's not screaming scandal.)
