My favourite so far is "Orange County Girl"...

It's a bit early I know, but any thoughts on her album?

Personally, I love a bit of Gwen, but I think you either love her music or hate it.
Her songs... so catchy but they get so goddamn annoying! Hollaback Girl, anyone?

Other than the annoying and overplayed Hollaback Girl (hell it was overplayed on Soompi Radio,) her first album was pretty good. Cool and Bubble Pop Electric were stuck in my head for weeks.

Dunno if it's just me, but I found it rather annoying also when she released FIVE singles off the first album.

her songs r good ... unique ... it kinda gets annoying when tha songs r around 5 min. long ... seems like forever and it repeats tha same thing over and over

anyone kno the story behind her G/G key? i saw her talkin about it on the MTV of Wind It Up... but still dying to kno~

I don't know, but it was just really weird. I didn't get a thing she was saying.

I like some of her older songs better.

I actually really like this album! not as good as the first one but its still good! I like the beat on the song Don't Get it Twisted, its unique

wind it up is funky but that yodeling.. is just out of the way. LOL!

I kinda put Gwen in the same category as Fergie because their songs are different, like weird different...and it seems like they are talking more than singing. But I do find Wind it up somewhat catchy. Yummy also seems like a good song.

I've never cared for her solo work and this album is no exception. In my opinion, she should've just stuck with No doubt, but even then, I'm not really feelin' their music anymore. After Tragic Kingdom, it all went downhill for me I think Gwen's pretty cool, just not her music

exaaactly. Wind it up is a good example. She kind of sounds like Fergie on some parts. Not that she's copying, heck no. But it's just way similiar.

Wind it up is ka-raaazy. I don't know if I like it or not yet. I mean I like that she's unique and stuff but...I dunno. I'll wait for another single. :x

Heard Wind It Up on AMA and I hated it.

Her first solo album was really good, I listened to all the tracks and I have to say I liked almost all of them except for the last track with Andre 3000.

I might buy this one, maybe not. I liked her songs until they got over played. It seriously did get annoying after the one millionth time.

i downloaded the album......not cool as L.A.M.B was hot!
the cd is missing something, like a good beat or something cool i don't know but the song yummy is TOO hot !!!

Well I can tell you that I DON'T like (actually hate) "Wind it Up"....to me the song's a mess. Doesn't have a nice feel, beat, or anything.
Hope her other songs are more promising...or else her sophomore album will probably suck.

I'm not liking her new song Wind It Up, but I love Early Winter a lot!! haha.

I like Don't Get It Twisted.. kinda catchy and a nice quick beat.
I admire Gwen's work. She's not afraid to step out of the box.

Like "4 in the morning" & "Yummy"

I really like Gwen Stefani..she has such a funky weird style but she's nice odd like Bjork is lol. "Wind It Up" is pretty weird and doesn't make much sense but it sticks after awhile and at least this MV is visually stimulating and unique..it's not like every other chick-artist MV with their bodies squeezed into tight outfits and boobs popping out. yay to Ms. Stefani, she rocks!

the video, beat, music(is there music?) and lyrics of 'wind it up' are really messed up
to me..it had a very strong missy elliot feel

i like the sweet escape because it has the somewhat oldies sound to it, so it sounds cute.^^ don't get it started is ok. the rest are still a bit too weird for me...especially yummy. it's too monotonous for me.

at the moment, i still prefer her first album over this one.

Like I posted earlier, I really liked her first solo album. I gave her second album a go...yikes.

It sucks. I think she's trying to hard to make it sound original that it just sounds like crap. But thank god she's over the harajuku thing. That crap made her look so stupid.

Her new stuff is pretty much garbage. Wind it Up is probably one of the most tolerable songs from her album. And Yummy is entirely garbage. Monologue speaking over a random beat doesn't make it a hit, no matter what Pharrell says.

I saw the AMA awards, i'm not sure if she was just talking , yelling or singing........
I don't think she's a great singer neither does Fergie....
But those two does sell image...
Oh remember when Gwen came out with the first album she was nominated for a whole bunch of GRAMMYS, she didn't win ANY...

moreover, I think gwen's vocals when she was in NO DOUBT were better.

i like her better in her no doubt days.
