SESBOI
yeah so to me, i think WaterPolo is the hardest sport that i have evered played! and thats after i played football, baseball, tennis and alittle bit of rugby! Waterpolo is like sprinting allll the time and when you get to ur position, you have to defend it and manuveur around. Plus since you are in the water, the refs don't see anything that goes on underwater and TRUST me, alot of crap happens!!!! and i think in football and tennis and baseball and rugby, you don't have to worry about drowning so yeah ! hehe! my $0.02!
epark1281

That's a pretty ignorant view of soccer.

Anyway, it has to be the martial arts sports. Boxing and Mixed Martial Arts are, by far, the hardest sports to compete in. Period.
pink_elephant
A sport that doesn't exist...would be pretty hard to play. HAhaa just kidding tongue.gif

Hmm...I think the hardest sport would be ... swimming. Because you need to train a lot and start early.
aznboy78
i think golf is hard.

how is that ignorant?
i played soccer in HS, varsity too, not just some IM stuff
what, i can't have my opinion?
i find that wrestling (real one, none of that WWE junk) is the most physically grueling sport.
aF 1
definitely golf !

Soccer is wimpy? Hardly.

Soccer is wimpy? Hardly.

a lotta running, i'll give you that, but try playing lax, constant running, constant hitting, fastest game on 2 feet.
ur talking about a sport with phantom fouls and penalties are given for sliding into balls and players "tripping". In any other sport like basketball or football, that's just a good hard defense.

You have no idea what you're talking about.
BabyBoy
yeppers golf is the hardest i agree ^... you have to plan so many strategic shots.. every shot you hit/putt requires strategy... and most important thing, if you accidentally just move your arm when hitting the ball, you can mess up big time... putting requires a lot of concentration, and also accuracy is a big important thing!
Raw
I always thought hockey was hard to play. Especially with it being so fast so yeah hockey gets my vote.
spyro
rugby.
HoO8MyRiCe
I have to agree with martial arts but you have to remember, chess is one of the most mind-wearing sports in the world.

On a different note, the hardest I've ever played has to be Lacrosse. The funnest sport has to be water polo hands down. And golf, you just need technique.
Jeffversion2
Golf....you can't just pick up a club and expect the ball to go exactly to where you want it too multiple times
bloo.
i. think. hockey.

dont get me wrong, i love it, but it hurts bending your back
lmao
GregoryHouseMD
Chess I say, requires a crapload of thinking and strategy

Otherwise golf.
InSong
soccer is a rough sport.
epark u have no idea ur talking about seriously.

boxing and kickboxing.
Phizzle!
soccer for sure.

duuude, back and forth on that huuuge field is no fun.

boxing and kickboxing.

ur right, i'm utterly crazy and i've totally lost it. I just had a randy moss "blue moon" moment
that being said, i think shuffle boarding is like...mad hard
pami_fizz
i can definately imagine water polo being hard. for fun: no ..but then competitively: dats crazy

other than that i guess hockey...cuz u have to know how to skate as if ur walking on land, carry huge pads as if it was nufin, score on goalies that have twice as much pads, and go against other big guys

omg. seriously. but there are people who didn't start early and are still frickin fast. on my school team, one of our varsity girls started her swimming her freshman year and got onto varsity her sophomore year. and that olympian.. gary hall jr or something (i think it was him) started swimming in high school, too. but of course.. both of them worked extremely hard. i don't remember ever seeing the girl slacking off during practice, and she was always the first one into the water for warmup.

er.. for me... any sport i don't play is hard. sleep.gif i'm only coordinated for aquatics sports. haha land sports are a no go for me.. so basically.. that's every other sport there is. sleep.gif
x SaRaNg HaE x
Waterpolo.
Aznbanana
Hockey sleep.gif Soccer u start to learn since ur 1st steps, skating o_O u should go and try to lace up a pair of skates. Best way to practice balancing on one foot imo

Football is one of the easy sports to play, besides the practice.. and yes I play football. We're playing Norco for first round CIF -SS, we'll win(i hope, I mean Norco has the best running back(dont believe me?). I would have to say water polo is far by the toughest sport.

I can tell you don't play football, by the way your attitude towards this game.
JuWon6o
Whether or not you think its a sport or not, Golf is the hardest sport to master.

do soccer players wake up every morning after a game with torn ligaments, bruised ribs, torn muscles and a sore back? American football players are by far the toughest people on this planet, that and amature wrestlers. Why? cause they play a sport that is hell bent on physically destroying the opposition, they bascially beat each other up, wake up banged up, and go at it again in practice in the morning.
You know what? The thing i don't like about soccer are the people that go down grabbing and clutching their legs in pain, when 10 cameras show replays of the guy being gently grazed on the leg.

ok both sports are easy to PLAY b/c u don't need to be GOOD just to play them
you can suck ass and still play these sports
soccer = kick the ball and run
american football = catch the ball and run
we are not talkin about high levels of these sports!!! no crap ne sport proffesional is hard
ok if soccer is so easy why don't u go Amsterdam Brazil and play street soccer with those kids!!! and please don't brag about your ass being in Varsity highschool soccer team, soccer here is not soccer over there

and no crap dude american football is PHYSICALLY harder then soccer durrrrrrrr; what a great comparison u made btwn these 2 diff sports, why don't u compare that stuff to RUGBY with no equipment what so ever! you should see those injuries they get if your comparing a physical sport or K1...

lol.... are you arguing with me about soccer? may I ask why? anyways, Football has rules, water polo doesn't. Football has pads, waterpolo doesn't. Waterpolo consists of scratching, punching, kicking, etc. Football? only has tackling. You get a broken leg in football? Got your bone stuck out? well too bad, theres a season waiting for you. O and football out on the field isn't hard. Go out and practice, you want to be a woos and quit practice cause its too hard? well too bad you don't deserve to be out there. What is the game of football to you, Some game to beat the cr@p out the other player? Do you even play football? I seriously don't think so. If you do, then you better get the game of football straight. You sound like some freshman football player to me.

I'm a football player, not a waterpolo player, if you wanted to know.

never mentioned anything about waterpolo, my friend, and no, i'm not some freshman football player, in fact, i've already graduated from school. Nice try tho. Btw, we're not talking about hs football. I'm talking about the league in where players have an average life expectancy of 55 years of age.

Yes they do have problems with all of those things you listed above.

Football is more physical, yes. You are just getting taken to school because you played off soccer as some wimpy sport. Good try though.

And I stick by my original answer. Boxing and Mixed Martial Arts are the ultimate sports. Any sport that involves actual combat is going to be the hardest.
Chongalong
Wrestling is crazy (HS/college)
It's physically grueling and ur whenever i wrestle my stamina depletes a whole lot faster than when i box/kickbox
I must say those 6 minutes in the circle can seem like a lifetime...
Poetic Prophet
jai alai to me seems like a hard sport. you try catching a ball that goes over 100 MPH. I'd be too scared to get hit in the head.

Peace!
Mr Boo Boo
well i think the hardest sports to play is video games O.O

jk =p

but seriously i say whatever sport you havent played b4 is the hardest one to play
plusone
martial arts

ive played a lot of sports competitively and tkd was the hardest for me

either chasing little 5'5 10pound flyweighters around the ring or trying not to get hit in the face by a 6'6 38459985409pound guy. tough job.
xshinhae05x
... I would have to say... K-1, full contact fighting

[EDIT]

OOOh I OWN this page!~
~S2~
hmmmmm

they're all hard... mostly contact ones

PRACTICE@
aznxkpx88
ive seen a real chess player and its pretty scary
spyro
lets see.. you guys have
football
soccer
golf
martial arts
chess
waterpolo

well based on that, i think the hardest has got to be hockey cause it combines all these sports that you guys have listed

football: involves tackling and physical contact; hockey: involves body checking and physical contact

soccer: need skill in shooting and passing a ball; hockey: need skill in shooting and passing a puck

golf: need to handle a club and good accuracy; hockey: need to handle a stick and good accuracy

marital arts: hand to hand combat; hockey: duh fighting

chess: need good strategy and be one step ahead of your opponent; hockey: need a good strategy especially on pk and pp and need to be one step ahead of your opponent when racing for a puck

waterpolo: have to play in water; hockey: have to play on frozen water!
chinguz
marathon..pentathalon = tiring
camello
does gymnastics count blink.gif ?
KAME
kick boxing i would say is the hardest.
supa'Wanki
Hardest sport that can be played? TU MADRE! lol anyways, Girls waterpolo.
1b4by
I'll say hockey. xD Simply cause I can't skate. LOL But other wise you have to be fast on ice, but me, I slip on ice >__<
supa'Wanki
Girls waterpolo, they are CRAZY!!! They have no rules, and once they go into the water,u'll get hurt so bad.. The guys waterpolo team just tries to get the ball into the net. If you don't believe me, you have a really bad waterpolo team.
