I got this pmp not too long ago but one day the battery ran out and it won't start. When charging, the light comes on but i can't turn it on. I did not do anything to it to damage it. Please help me!!

i take the battery out and re-insert it
it usually works for me
also batteries have a 'life', maybe you recharged/used it to its max
