Hey guys! I wanted to officially create an admissions thread to help others who are/will be applying to colleges! If looking at stats of those who have already received their decisions will help give others an idea of where they stand! dang same with flyaway, i have a higher sat score but a slightly lower gpa. my extracurriculars are ok though. im envious of those ap scores & sat2 scores though.

sweatingbullets.gif my sat scores are kinda sucky arent they? haha my parents just didn't get it, i had to take it three times before they realized it wasn't gonna get much better than that! >.< but lucky for you! they take the sat so high into consideration! =] and thats so exciting about stanford smile.gif hehe definitely let me know if u get in!! my friends nervously waiting for stanford too! it comes out the 15th correct? wut other schools are you looking at besides stanford? & thanks you too!!

mmm my gpa is 4.43? weighted. it's 4.4something i forget haha
sat verbal 720 writing 740 math 760
sat 2's 800 Math 2c & 800 chinese, 750 chem
extracurrics: lacking...8 years of piano, 3 years of varsity badminton, some random clubs
did an intern at stanford medical center one summer

woohoo! i was an ELC student too! (cathers im assuming you are since you're guaranteed davis?) they guaranteed me irvine but not for my major (engineering) so that's not helpful. haha but if i dont get into stanford i'll probably go to berkeley sad.gif but stanford's my dream sweatingbullets.gif

haha I applied to UCLA and Berkeley too xP and psh it's good to apply to a school like that coz you NEVER know!!! Plus I've heard that Stanford can be quite weird in its admission policies, sometimes the people you expect to get in don't, and vice versa! =] good luck with ur schools!

haha your test scores are amazing!! i'm sure they DEFINITELY make up for your extracurrics although they are pretty good too. At least you have two things you've shown commitment too! =] what other schools are you looking at btw besides stanford, UCI, & berkeley? I'm guessin you kinda wanna stay in cali?
