What does everyone else in the world eat on Christmas? I'm thinking of making dinner for my familiy (: So i need help. Some recipes would be nice too.

That Christmas tree is gorgeous.
For my family, we have roast chicken, carbonara pasta, baked pasta etc etc

my family usually calls everyone over for a bbq coz we live in australia and during christmas its summer down here

btw what happened to only eating sweet potatoes, fruits and vegies?

Well, normally, my family and I have steamboat at home and we will cook together because everything is closed here during Christmas so we need to cook ourselves.

My family usually eat the same thing for Christmas as we do Thanksgiving. TURKEY! haha. And lots of other stuff too. I get really FAT during these two months. -___-

That was what I was discussing w/my sis-in-law the other day. Don't know for sure yet. I think if not turkey this year, like we usually do, then maybe chicken or so. Might roast chicken and make some side dishes with that. Not sure. Usually will get something going the day before Xmas. Can't wait! Excited! smile.gif I'm already celebrating w/my friends this weekend.

i don't really have a traditional type of food on christmas or any holiday for that matter.. but i just eat reeeeeeally good food smile.gif

i hate family gatherings. so i don't bother going to them sometimes. when i was small i use to like it but now...blah...besides...normally, christmas isn't that important to my family...we jus sit and sleep the whole day. i have to work on christmas day so...not much happening...i'm kinda glad i work on that day. biggrin.gif

mm...as for dinners, we're not the traditional kind, so we have whatever

usually its ham/lobster/steak
with spaghetti or some kind of pasta
& mashed potatoes/baked potatoes/stuffed potatoes

or sometimes we have hotpot or sushi biggrin.gif

hahaha
its just about the gatherings in my family.
not so much the food...
other than desserts

My family and I usually have a turkey, ham, and cranberry sauce. And we have some fried rice 'cause we're chinese haha.
