Help! How Do You Change The Dpi On A Digital?

Hey! I need to change my Canon Powershot SD550 photos to a 300 DPI for my drawing class...But the problem is I HAVE NO idea how to do that..would anyone so kindly tell me how to change the DPI? Thanks in advance smile.gif
