i'm just a froshie @ univeristy and i haven't been home ALL semester (since late aug)
and i think i'm gonna go craaaaaaaaazy i'm so homesick

i couldn't even go home for thanksgiving cause i'm from the states,
and canadians celebrate some WEIRD thanksgiving in october ... T.T
haha

BUT,
i'm finishing my last final tomorrow
and then i'm heading home

so, what's the longest period of time you stayed @ school without going home?
and did you enjoy it? or were you hellaaaa homesick like me

A whole semester. My home is across the country and plane tickets cost $700 so yeah... it's not like I can just go anytime I like.

i've always gone to school near home, which somewhat sucks. i'd kind of like to get away, even if it's just for a semester. longest time i've been away from home to be at school is like what.... 15 hours? hahaha.

yeah we celebrate thanksgiving in october here. lol and we don't even have a super crazy shopping day to look forward to afterwards. no black fridays? is that what you call it?

a year (but when this year's done it'll be two)... just my luck that it costs a thousand dollars and takes a 24-hour-long flight to get home... i miss it sometimes, sure, but going in i knew what comes with studying overseas, and i haven't lived at "home" for years anyways...

I'm a Canadian in the STATES! hahaha I thought it was weird celebrating thanksgiving in November =P LOLOL..anyways I haven't been back home since september since we use the quarter system in our school here in California hahaa..but ya LOL..I'm not too homesick..I have some reletives here! but here I'm known as the canadian girl O_O LOL..yaaaaaaaaaa..=P..I will be going back soon in 3 days! WOOHOO..I miss it there but I'm not too homesick I guess

my family lives in korea and i got to uni in the u.s. so i can only go home twice a yr ^^;;

Maybe three months straight. I've never missed home once except when I was here over the summer. It was just so depressing and hot and none of my friends were here and my roommate and her boyfriend were in the room being annoying all the time. So I'd like, call my family to talk to them for fun. X.x
