i've spent countless semesters deciding on a major. so...i am finally gonna grad this summer with a degree in Finance...and a minor in Econ. What do you suggest i should do? i want to build up experience and skills...but should i just go to the bank? anyone in the finance field have any advices?? i've had experiences working the management department...but nothin that dealt w/ financial matters. Once i know which places to target, i can start sending out resumes. I am planning to go to Cali and find a job in finance/econ field. please feel free to give me advices. thank you soompiers!

if you work for a bank they usually offer a program where you work for them for 2 years and then they pay for your grad work and then you can decide if you want to go back to the bank.
if you work for a company thats connected to wallstreet realize that they work on east coast time. so, you'll end up going to work around 5-6.
you have a degree thats in high demand right now so you're options are wide
you can go into risk calculations for firms. loans for macro/micro companies.
you could hit the big banks like barcleys.
