My S500i was not as good as I thought, it has a cheap plastic feel to it. It's still solid, no slider problems despite it's weight but it's more of a looks phone, I'm going exchange it again haha... geez.

Either I'm getting the u600 again or k790a.

loving this phone cuz its slick!
love the silver, glides so smoothly when i open it
the brushed silver looks hot instead of shiny silver...
and being a girl, its awesome cuz the screen, when its dim/not in use,
you use the front as full mirror! love it love it!
camera's 2 megs and pretty good quality....
it uses the schneider lense (same lense used for kodak digi cams and nasa uses it too)
^^ i only know that cuz i work at staples in the tech dept and the kodak rep was informing me of the cameras we are selling for them =)

my boyfriend works at rogers and gets to try out some kick a** phones...
he lets me use them when he's done sometimes...
i only let him use it for a week before i asked him if i could have it. haha...
its not out yet in ontario... according to him, it won't be out for a couple of months..
i don't know about the U.S. .... its obviously out in asia already...
i don't know...
it's a slick phone... the mirror is so handy..

yeh, i think that's one downside... just the scroll thingy... it's odd having the scroll to go up and down but then the buttons next to it go left and right... reception isn't the greatest.... i just like the way it looks... the camera is pretty good quality though.. it's best under natural light... in terms of firmware, i haven't had any problems with it yet... but we'll see later.. =)

So finally, after going through the Samsung u600 to the SE S500i in the last 2 weeks, I now have the SE K790a.

It's a keeper people.
