Because I heard that the newer ones of those that people order are fixed because so many people previously had the cracked buttons problem...so hopefully mine won't crack. =(

what do you mean by fixed? as in fixed in or what? hee.
i'm not sure, because i bought them from a local store near my house (i live in singapore btw, ^^).
yeah it keeps cracking and its getting harder and harder to type -_-"

^ I believe the camera is a swivel-y one that is in the "hinge" of the flip... so you can selfca or whatever ^_^

i've been using a softbank 707scii for a couple weeks:

pros:
-looks nice +10
-light/thin
-buttons are reasonably responsive
-popular in japan, but more rare outside of
-screen has good picture colour and detail
-does all the things you want

cons:
-can only be opened with two hands unlike my old RAZR where you can jam a finger in the side
-doesn't have an english dictionary so texting is slow as you have to text old-school style by pressing numbers repeatedly to select the letter
-frame rate is a bit slow, and it's obvious when you're navigating the main menu as the animations are quite choppy

i have the miniskirt, or the samsung u600.
it's an okay phone. it's really slim.
but i've dropped it a million times and so scratches are everywhere.
i'd advise people to get the black one if you don't want the scratches to show..
the camera's good (3.2 mp) and the speakers are nice too (:
