If you had to pick one person that you admire to write about, and within that piece of writing express what sense of values (vlaues in general such as cultural, self value, social values, etc.) you have as an idividual, who would you write about, and what qualities would you give?
can be specific/general.
thx.
Too lazy to make another sig. Ill get to it..maybe.

The person I admire is an older friend of mine. Let's say his name is *Sean*<<to remain annoymous......

-He gives his best or tries to....in everything that he does. His work, relationships, hobbies, etc.....

-He is a caring individual who will always give me a hug or shoulder to cry on. He is planning to start his own Charity later on in life.

-He is dorky and funny, and has a great personality. He's such a joy to hang around.

-Will try his best to cheer you up and listen to you.

-Has been like a brother to me and given me enormous support in everything I do. He's supported me more than my own family/relatives.

-Has good, respectful moral values.

He's the person I will strive to be when I grow up!!!!

Admire the most? Hrm..well, I'd like to say my mom and my sisters!

Mom - b/c she makes me want to become a stronger and better woman. She is the reason for where I am today and for the person I am today. I admire her for her kindness, her values in life, her motherly touch, her sacarfices for her family, and for her love for her family. She's the one I look to for guidance and support. Even tho she isn't here w/me anymore, I still hold her in my heart always and forever. She's the one that makes me want to live life...

Sisters - b/c they are the only 2 sisters I have. They support me by guiding me in life, teaching me what I need to know, and providing the love for me that I need. They are the ones who I can turn to when I am in need of someone to help me figure things out when I need to.

I am bless to have such wonderful women in my life...smile.gif

Is your topic question some writing prompt for an essay you have to do for school? Lol. biggrin.gif

Anyways, I have a post on my Myspace about my dad (LOVE my daddy).
I also have another file on my computer about my mommy =D

Basically I outlined a few of the MANY things they have done for me/taught me. Despite how many people out there probably want to see me fail, my parents have always sacrificed themselves so that I could have a greater chance in life. They've taught me to have good manners, to treat people with kindness and understanding, etc.

Family-wise, I admire my mother the most simply because she handles the family so well, even when dad isn't here with us at times. I can talk to her at times and know she'll be there to comfort me. She's a really straightforward and strong person so I admire her for that, because I'm sort of weak myself at times. She can at some way guide me and lead me to carry on when I want to give up. Although she can be annoying at times, in the end it's only out of caring etc. xD okay, did that sound corny? lol

Another person I admire is one of my friends who I met from Chinese School but has left. I still see her but not very much, we mostly just SMS each other. She's a friend who I relate to a lot even though we have been SMSing each other for like one year after she left Chinese School. We talk about anything, even about things that bother us. She's a friend that doesn't care about the big things in the world like earning lots of money, living in a big house, having a really nice car. She don't care about those things, and I really admire her for that. She has her own dreams and hopes and she really does work well to achieve them. She doesn't ever give up.
She will always be there to listen to you too, although she's not my best friend, she's still a close friend.
Can we pretend that airplanes in the night sky are like shooting stars?
I could really use a wish right now, wish right now, wish right now...

My mom and dad.

Although they punish me, they will the remain as my whole world. They represent why I am here with them helping me achieve whatever possibilities I wish and want. I hope that I become good parents such as them <33

I'd say my mom. I still remember when she started her GED/ESL class and how she would work on her essays every night so she could improve her English. It was very hard for her to learn English because she worked in a place for 10 years where she didn't need to speak any English. I'd see her in the living room table at night, working hard on her English homework, and she'd always have this confused look on her face. But she never broke down or gave up. She kept on going to classes and attempting to use English anytime she could. I admire her determination. I mean, she was in her early forties then, and she doesn't have a good memory...but in the end, she made it to graduation and got her diploma.
