Craptastic singer. Horrible music. Ushered in the annoying pop-punk phase (I said ANNOYING, Blink 182 made pop-punk popular but Avril made it annoying). Made Hot Topic the worst store to go to. Made stupid girls sing about their "Sk8ter Bois."

Oh, I could go on and on. I really do not like Avril Lavigne.

I like only 3 songs that she sung: Freak out, Things I'll never say, and Complicated. I HATE HER SONG SKATER BOY, DUDES, I HATE IT! She has a good voice, but I despise her music and her f-cking attitude. Everything about her is completely fake and just an act to show how "pissed off" or "badass" she really is, that she's not a pop star like Lindsey Lohan or Britney Spears, but she's just like them. But aside from her attitude, her songs are nothing special. Not a single one of her songs appeals to me.

oh what the hell. i'll admit, she has catchy songs. what can i say. i don't really think she's talented but i can't help it if there's catchy songs. you may dislike the artist but if it's a catchy song, it's a catchy song lol. i like about 5 songs she's done. i heard her sing live through TV and the internet, i think she sucks. her voice live sounds off. it does not sound like her album voice.

as far as her presentation it does appear fake. she does have photo shots where she does appear much more mature, and i think that image suits her. but her teen angst days might be gone as well. whatever, i don't know much about her. and i do think she's pretty. so sue me.

i used to f.cking hate her when she first came out. everything she said pissed me off. and when i heard her live version i thought something was wrong with my ears. literally, it was so s.it it was unbelievable.

well that was ages ago and i got over her. she started fading away.

Avril was posing for most of her first album. She's dropped the whole punk act (mostly) on her second album.
I like her songs without her pop-punk acts like "Don't Tell Me", "My Happy Ending" and "I'm With You"

"Losing Grip" SUCKED.

Like... good examples of pop-punk music would be bands like The Offspring, Blink-182, No Doubt and Green Day. That's the kind of pop-punk that few could dislike.

Avril belongs in the quality level of Yellowcard, Simple Plan, Fallout Boy and Busted, some may like, many will hate.

If Avril tries to go punk again, maybe her husband Derrick from Sum 41 can teach her something...
