hey guys, im attending college in fall 2007, and i am planning to major in international business.

but i am somewhat confused.

*for example, what are the job opportunities out in the field?
*do i have to go to a college that offers major in international business?

questions like that, it would be really helpful if someone who actually is majoring in this field give me their insights about it.

I wanted to do international business, but at UH you're required to double major (with something else in business) and requires a minimum of 3 years of a language, which I think is pretty standard at any other school too.
I think the job oppertunities in int.business are pretty much the same as if you were to major in a general business feild, but you have language experience and probably more knowlege about business on a more international view...i guess.
I'm kind of confused about your last question...no matter what you major in of course your school has to offer it as a major mellow.gif

i personally do'nt think that international business is a good thing to go into. why? because its like the safety net of options in the business field.

if i were to go to into international business i would make sure that the school i'm going to has one of the top international business educations in the nation!
