Hey everyone. im planning to get a creative zen (micro) but im not too sure of it.
i'd like to ask if anyone on soompi has/had a creative zen, and what do you think of it.

THANKYOU. I've been waiting for someone to say that.

I had a Microphoto.. it was so good. You can customize the background with your own photos (JPG only.. no gifs. And you can zoom in the picture too) and color themes. The sucky part is that you can't listen to music and browse through pictures at the same time. But I really thought it was a good mp3 player.

Oh, and it displays songs like an iPod (three lines.. TITLE, ARTIST, ALBUM), so you may want to rename all your songs before putting it in.. took me forever. It can display foregin languges as well, and you can change the player's main language to a lot of choices. You can make playlists, add 'bookmarks' on songs (no idea why they have that, I think it's pointless) and skim through songs catorgorized by Artist, Album, Genre, and even the most/least listened to. It also keeps track of how many times you listened to it! Haha, I loved that.

You use a program called ZEN MICROPHOTO MEDIA EXPLORER to add your songs. You just open it up and you can drag-and-drop it.

There's a place to put a lanyard on it too... its the two holes at the bottom. Open the cap and you'll see where to put it. ^^; I personally think it's a bit too heavy to wear around your neck, so you can put a charm on it like I did! xD

Sound quality was really good; the headphones are awesome. And there's a SMART VOLUME feature or whatever it was called and it makes your songs sound better. :]

And the other sucky part is that mine died on me because I dropped it (and it wasn't that hard.. I think). T_T; So now I hate Creative.

That's all I can think of that you may wonder about.. ^^;

Offtopic, but I got a Samsung T9 today... I read a lot of good things about it. ^^ Maybe you can look into that too? :3 C'mon, it comes in a pretty box~ HAHA

i love it.

except that it takes my computer forever to convert files, it`s all good. the earbuds it comes with are a little big so i`m looking for new earphones. erm..functions are pretty easy to use. i can pick display/wallpaper so i likeee. i also like ability to change languages. i typically have it set in korean so the annoying people who always ask to see it can`t do anything with it. ahah..mean..i know but i get annoyed when i`m listening to something and they figure something and change whatever i`m doing.

ohyeaa. video`s are AWESOME. ahaha. that`s why i got the vision:m. i have no complaints. there`s a handy little reset button if it ever freezes and it functions perfectly well even though i`ve dropped it several times. only complaint is that now i have giant scratches on screen...butttt it works okay. yea..that`s my 2 cents.

I have a 5g Creative Zen Micro. Pretty decent and I don't really have any gripes about it. Back then it was great, but I dunno 'bout today. What I payed for it back then was not worth it. Other than that, it's a quality MP3 player.

Yeah I had one a while back, its pretty good. Much more durable compared to a iPod and comes with this nice little bag thing

The zen mirco? I use to have one and the earphone jack died on me. Well.......i heard that ALMOST every zen micro has that problem so becareful. I wouldn't buy it if I were you, though =/

Instead, get the Vision M. It's FANTASTIC! Trust me lol.
Even though it's a bit pricy, it's worth it. The music and video quality is awesome and they have a lot of features than the video ipods.

I've heard about that earphgone problem and no one I know w/a zen has had that problem o_O
