Shinhwa is walking towards the epitome of "The Best Group of the Year".

In "2006 Netizen Daesang" voting, they are now in the lead. Of the statistics up to 4pm on 16th, 44125 people voted, and Shinhwa is currently leading, with 21452 votes (48.6%). Almost half of the voters chose Shinhwa.

Last month at "Best Korean Gasoo" poll, Shinhwa was also chosen first by the foreign netizens. In the recent "2006 Golden Disk Awards", Shinhwa also got the same award.

Now right behind Shinhwa is SS501. SS501 got 9273 votes from the netizens, gaining 21% of the votes, and is now trying to go up to the first place. SS501 recently released their first album, and is planning to have a concert in memory of their first album on the 27th Dec. They will have their second concert in Tokyo in January next year.

The third is DBSK (Dong Bang Shin Ki). They got 8553 votes (19.4%), rapidly catching up to SS501. This year, they released "O - Jung Ban Hap", and they have been very active, gaining Daesangs in "Mnet KM Music Festival" and "Seoul Gayo Daesang".

Also, in "2006 Golden Disk Awards", they received Bonsang and Daesang, gaining a double triumph. From this, in the "SBS Gayo Daedan" on the 29th Dec, DBSK is also a potential winner.

In the fourth place is SG Wannabe. Buzz, Super Junior, Big Bang, and Kangta&Vanness are following with intense competition.

"2006 Netizen Daesang" final votings will end at 8pm on 28th Dec.

personally, i think shinhwa is the better of the three. (this coming from a huge DBSK fan)

they were one of the first boy bands and have accomplished a lot~

I'm considered a huge fan of DBSK but I do think Shinhwa deserves the award!
They have been in the showbiz for quite long and have great accomplishments.
I like their songs and everything as well and they're also a bunch of funny ppl.

DBSK still have plenty of chances =D

i admit that DBSG is my favorite. they always have been.
but Shinhwa has got to be the most fist sucessful boy band after HOT.
or so that's what my friends and i think. -.-

But then again, DBSG went through some TOUGH TOUGH TOUGH times through this pas years. They also had pretty much ruined pasts, and i think they have shown a lot of confidence and sucess through the years and i'm VERY proud.

And Ss501.. i don't know very much about them. -.- sorry. but i love their songs! and they're very good haha.

So overall, in the long run, i think Shinhwa still has the better chance of winning since most of their fans have remained loyal. I know tons of fans who switched from Shinhwa to DBSG. -.- i dunno. But Shinhwa does seem to have a pretty tight hold on the fans. it's their charms ahahaha..and of course talent. :]

but i don't think there is exactly.. 'the best'.

DBSK-They are my fave group @ this moment
Shinhwa-They were the 1st ever Korean Group i liked
SS501-I dont know much about them but i'll be really happy 4 them and their fans if they won

I came to know about DBSK accidentally and has been listening to their songs after that... previously i don't listen to korean songs at all.

Shinwa... I love their song "perfect man".. that's also through a taiwanese drama that played the song.

SS501...hmm.. only heard one song of theirs but not really impressed so my knowledge of them isn't enough.

Well people can say that I'm biased if I said DBSK is best cos I know more about them... However, Shinwa seems to be the "big brother".. they did held a concert over here in Singapore and yes... media's saying how good they are... so I reckon they are GOOD...

Though I like songs by DBSK && SS501 as well, I believe that Shinhwa is truly a legend =]
But i would still be happy even if DBSK won
But i don't think that SS501 should win just yet because they like debuted about a year or two ago and they are not as experienced
