Conventions you like which were good?

OKies, I don't go to conventions anymore, but I remember that they used to be so fun!

Which do you guys like to go to?
IF my friend gets me in for free, I'll go to the Yaoi Con this weekend ('cause I <3 Yaoi)

I used to go to Fanime....out of tradition. LoL. Now I only go to their music concert. ^o^ And to watch free korean movies! ^o^

Yes, but I usually just go out of tradition... dry.gif


....is there a mod for this thread? I didn't see any Convention topics, and I wanted to make sure it was ok to post...but...I dunno who the mod is...

Fanime 04 was best! The guests were awesome. I want to go to AX this year, but I'm not sure.

(There'll be 1st ever Jrockcon in November! People should come!!!)

I love Fanime hehe and I will be going to Anime Destiny in Berkeley next weekend =p I want to goto AX but its slap in the middle of summer when im usually not here sleep.gif

I went to AX 2005... it was my first convention and i LOVED it! it was so much fun meeting people who have the similar interests as me... new friends can always be made and its always fun to see what kind of cosplays people do... i totally recommend Anime Expo to any anime fan..

AX's in CA right? I haven't gone to any conventions yet, but I'm planning to go to ACen later in the summer.

Anime North, great cosplayers and events there, and also some friendly yugioh players like me can be found there happy.gif
