so my lcd screen on my camera broke and i was wondering where or how i would be able to fix it.
when i turn it on it's purplish and black and with 3 different lines running through it.
i think broke it either by sitting on it or letting it sit in the cold for too long. - I live in minnesota so don't tell me it's probably not cold enough.
my camera is a canon powershot SD300 4mega pixels if thats any help to you.

please please please, tell me what i can do before the holidays. my baby cost around 300-400 bucks and i do not want to buy another one. cause my camera is the best. =P

it's an old camera... is it still under warranty? if not, you might want to contact canon and see if they're willing to fix it. it'll probably cost you either way...

you can probably replace your sd with a better one for as cheap as $200. perhaps you can take the plunge this holiday season?

Yea...I agree. You camera is pretty old. I think it might be a bit pricey to fix.

Plus, upgrade versions of your camera is probably around $200 max.


But since You have so much sentimental value to your camera, does the LCD screen bother you? I know someone who's had her camera for another 2 years after the LCD broke. She was still able to take many great pictures...even with the fact that the lcd broke. If it has a view finder....I think you can still continue to use it just fine for another long time to come.

oh that happen to me before well, first if you have the warranty or whatever call the numnber and stuff and say your camera lcd crack and they just gave me their address so i ship my camera out and they fix it for me hehe i got so scared haha because my mom bought it for me for my b-day.
