Hey i was wondering if anyone on soompi plays poker online for money. If so what site do you play on and what is your aka. I play mostly on PokerStars but i have many accounts on other ones as well such as Ultimate bet, Party poker, Paradise poker, Full tilt Poker, and Bodog. My aka on pokerstars is Naurto_HL..
Maybe we can use this thread to talk about stragety and how to get better in poker and how to increase your bankroll, etc..

**All serious poker players lets make some money and start a soompi crew lol..

Are you in the States? Last I knew online gambling was illegal in the US once Bush got that law passed.

I used to play on holdempoker.com

No it is not illegally to play in the states. Bush band non state sites such as Party Poker and Paradise poker. However you can still play at Pokerstars, Ulitmatebet, Fulltilt, and many other sites that are in the states. Bush just doesn't want our money going to another country.

I play on .com cuz .net is free.hahah So far doesn't look like many people play poker here ..where the true poker players at??

i play poker everyweek end
i used to play paradise poker
i really don't like online poker cuz i lost my 20 bucks on it
maybe 20 bucks isn't much but its still money and a broke college kid
plus online poker has so many hands...more then 5 ppl playing poker is like whoa

how many times must I fall over and over again? and when will i finally succeed at a such a vital point in my life while my time is dwindling away???

ill check out .com sometime, but only when i get a job again lol. i do gamble with friends though, come out with good money 90% of the time

used to play on bodog and made +500 on there, got kicked off cuz i played with a group of friends..currently playing on full tilt right now actually, i'm up and down on that site

i play too much.

i've hit too many highs and lows man.

i use to play on bodog and pokerstars, but nowadays it's just poker stars.

let's add another question to this forum, what do you do while you play..cuz yano us good players have to wait for amazing hands to come

usually i just websurf and listen to music, but i have played gb and dota while waiting for hands

when waiting for my hand i am either listening to music or watching anime. If i am on my streak i play 4 tables at a time so i can't be doing much because i am so busy analyzing fast lol... ever play 4 tables at once?? haha

I play on pokerstars when I get bored.
I usually make money from sit and go's or ring games.
Although I mainly play Texas Hold em, sometimes I'll play HORSE and HOSE and Razz.
For fun I'll go on to Doyle's Room and play Padugi.

For spare time when waiting on hands, if I am only playing on 1 or 2 tables then I'll just chat/surf web/listen to music, but if I'm on 3 or more tables then can't really do much else unless the tables are moving slowly.

People who play on PokerStars plz give your AKA.. Maybe we'll see each other around or maybe we can make a deal and go in 30/30/30 + 10% goes to the person that cashes. of we can go in 60/40.. 60% goes to the player that cashes.. but yah let me know.. my AKA is "Naurto_HL" when i made the account i accidentally spelled naruto wrong... lol oh well.. Lets make some cash $$$. 12/24/06 I placed 3rd/45 player, 8th/180 players, and other ones i fell short of the money but yah lets get a clan started lol... MAX = 10 players only sorry.. list your AIM and your AKA and if your good enough I'll let you know if you can join or not.. sorry to be so mean its just that this is money were are talking about and I want no noobs in the clan... I am going to start a clan.. I'll be checking records.. =P
