I accessed it earlier today and then I tried again just a minute ago and it wouldn't work!!
It asked for this FrontPage CD thing or something and I'm getting concerned because it's sort of odd to me that it would suddenly stop working.
Anybody know why it's doing this?

Most likely the last time you used it you did something different like say for example you tried to open a file in chinese. So now when you open it, it knows that you might want to use it again and tries to get the files needed to get that part working for you.
So yes, pop in the Office CD or if you have the files stored on the hard drive, direct the program there to find those files.

I don't have the CD ㅠ____ㅠ I guess I'll have to wait until I can go get it.

Yup, you would have to pop in the Microsoft Office CD and open Word with it again.
Oddly, sometimes if i press cancel, Word still opens
