I've been looking forward to this film for a while now. I love Alfonso Cuaron and Clive Owen. It opens limited release on Christmas and then I think it expands after the new year.
I can't wait to see it! Reviews so far have been glowing.

This movie sounds REALLY interesting and novel, and it sounds like it'll be pretty good.
Please don't forget me. { I'm going away. }
I'm taking a taxi to Kentucky where they don't even know all about me. I just need to feel s a f e.
I've got a thousand sweaters, and shoes, and paintings to hide the skeletons in my way.
But he said, "Slow down, slow down. Think it over, we've all got wretched closets, but silly girl pride kills more than Aids lately."
I said, "Come on, I thought it over. I don't wanna die here. I have no desire to get m♥rried."
Every night I pray for you, don't believe in heaven or that it could be a happy place.

yeah the book sounded good.. sorta a mix between brave new world and 1984.. i think i may see the movie version without reading the book first so that i won't be able to compare..
Alice asked the Cheshire Cat `Would you tell me, please, which way I ought to go from here?'
"That depends a good deal on where you want to get to," said the Cat.
"I don't much care where--" said Alice.
"Then it doesn't matter which way you go,' said the Cat.

I saw it a while back and I felt that it was movie of the year potential (it still does, regardless of what award show says so otherwise)

Might be a bit odd for a Xmas rls considering the premise, might be a bit depressing lol.

Definitely recommend it.

^I actually think that's a bit odd, about award shows. It's not really showing up anywhere with the awards and whatnot but it's getting GREAT reviews. I don't know what the deal is.

I can't wait to see this. The trailer is so effing great. And Clive Owen is the sh*t.
There was nothing to fear,

It'll always be a problem and thats unfortunate. Winning a trophy is nice and dandy but geez, movie execs / companies are horrible when it comes to over rating such things and make or break upcoming movies from great writers, directors and what not.

I still find the movie absolutely brilliant either way.

It's an awesome movie. I felt sorry for a few of the characters.

Special screenings.

It'll expand wider in January, so at least most of us will get to see it next month.
There was nothing to fear,

Lol, finding the book is trouble since it was published in 94 and number of editions as of late are kinda low. Pretty sure reprints are in process just to coincide w/the movie.

There's always your local library! I haven't come across and ebooks / audio books for CoM yet.

Does anyone need screen caps? No spoilers obviously.

haha i saw the book at my local costco... i was thinking of getting it.. but then i knew if i read the book i'd probably think the movie was worse if it didn't heed my expectations...

but yeah it's not there anymore tho.. sold out pretty fast...

Yeah, I saw a whole bunch of them on display last time I went to Books a Million.

I'm seeing this later today. Omg. I can't wait. ><
