well soo..i'm in need of burning dvds and so i downloaded Blaze Media Pro to burn dvds..soooo i've been trying to burn this movie for abour an hour and a half now but its only 13% done
is this typical?? or is there any better dvd burning programs out there?

did u check if it was freeware? or ur just using a trial version
some trial versions only allow u to burn an X amount and it no longer works
if ur gonna be burning stuff might as well pay for it

I don't think there are any GOOD free programs out there. If you're going to burn a lot of DVDs then just go purchase Nero or something. It'll be worth it in the long run.

When you were burning, did you have it convert and burn at the same time or did you just have it set to burn the files?
It sounds like your drive has had a un-recoverable buffer underrun... its trying to continue and fix the disk but its just dead. Try again with a new disk
