when you apply to medical schools, do they only consider your SCIENCE GPA or do they take your OVERALL GPA into consideration? for example, if a certain medical school's average GPA for its matriculates was a 3.5, is that the science gpa or overall gpa?

They look at both. I'm still not sure if it's all science grades, or just the core science classes all pre-meds take, like 2 semesters physics, biology, inorganic chem, organic chem.
