As topic says, it simply isnt ejecting.
Its like luck or something: sometimes it works, most often it doesnt.
Nothing is wrong about the physical button on the drive, because it doesnt work either when i right click the drive on GUI and select 'eject'.
And the weird thing is when i press the physical button on the drive, the green LED light that indicates that the drive is 'working' will blink.
Someone suggested that it could be that there isnt enough electricity flowing to the drive.. Hmm..

hi, that happens a lot. Dunno how to fix it. Usually it seems like the rails are getting gummy or the belts are dried out so they can't stick to the motor as well so it wont force the tray out.



Not much to say other than maybe take it apart and glob some oil or vaseline on some of the gears and that cog that goes up and down as shown in the first picture.
(yes, I do leave a drive in many pieces sitting around)
