Hey, I'm applying to UIUC (University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign) but before I do I want to make sure we're going to get in-state tuition. The offices are closed so I'm hoping Soompiers can help out.
Okay, so if my father has been working in Chicago for the past one year at a temporary residence BUT has been paying tax to Illinois and has proof of intent to move there, Would that make me eligible for in-state tuition? (Illinois requires one year for resident status)
