I don't know if this belongs here (since I'm still in highschool but going to college) but I was wondering what type of hazings do sororities do. Like I hear alot of gruesome things that frats do but never heard any stories about sororities. Share your experiences or your knowlege wtih me? :]

well rushing is suppose to be a very secretive thing so i dont know how much personal info sorority girls can really offer you but at my school (umich) the tri deltas have a very bad reputation for their pledges. supposely you have to have sex with a guy that the girls choose from their partnering frat and all the other girls get to watch. hopefully its just a rumor

my cousins in a sorority at Rutgers and from what I hear, there really is no such thing...course I have no idea about other colleges/universities

It depends on the sorority itself. There are some asian sororities that are much more "conservative" than white sororities (although technically you wouldn't call any sororities conservative at all), but asian ones are far less populated. (I guess this may be good considering you get to bond more with others.) My brother's in a frat, and he says that sorority girls have really really nice houses, with their own maid and all that crap; where as a frat house is just plain gross.
