I know a hyung(koreans you know what hyung means, right?) he is 22 years old and he did not start college yet.
He wants to start like next year, but worrried that he might be the oldest in his class.
He graduated high school in 2004(I think) i said 2005, because i got him mixed up with my sis graduation year, he was working after he was done with HS
Is he too old to start college?
He said that there might be many koreans in his class that might ask him why he just started college.
he said that everyone that will be 18,19,20 years old in his class.
He is not too late to start college, is he?
I told that hyung not to worry about those things and just go to the college, but i think he is still worried, he said that he might feel dumb if he is the oldest.

(i graduated `06 and plan on going to college soon - maybe a little earlier than your hyung but later nonetheless)...
tell him not to worry, there will probably be other students in the classes who are the same age or even older than him!

It is never too late to follow your dreams and to better your life. There is no set limit on age restriction to enter college, outside maybe that you have to be of legal age like 18 and I a not even sure of that. There is no age limit for a reason, because it doesn't matter. You are only limited by your desire and your talent. When I was in college, there were students who had white hair. Having work experience and being older will give him one advantage that other students much younger than him will not have, wisedom, the wisedom not to drink and party so much but to take classes more seriously. One of the best things that people don't take advantage of when they go to college is that it is meant to be a learning experience, not just book learning, but learning from the experiences of other people. His experience will add diversity to the classroom. His age and work experience is an advantage, not a disadvantage.
