"That depends a good deal on where you want to get to," said the Cat.
"I don't much care where--" said Alice.
"Then it doesn't matter which way you go,' said the Cat.

...I'm not sure why anymore since he's really pro-whatever religion he believes in, so his ranting shouldn't of been much of a shocker.
*goes to find out what this movie is about*

The original is one of my favorites. The remake looks like utter sh*t.

Alone; in five minutes I'll be safe at home...

The original I thought was creepy because you didn't KNOW anything about the killer. Who he was, why he was doing it, even what he looked like. I hear in the remake you get to know ALL about him, and I think I saw him in a TV spot.. wtf? He looked like the zombie thing at the end of Lucio Fulci's House by the Cemetary.
The sad thing is, a lot of kids who go see it probably won't even know there's an original, or they do but they won't see it cause "itz liek oldd!!!". Same with all the other remakes that come out every week too. Grrr.
and nothing to doubt.

i mean i don't think it'll be a huge deal, but think of it this way. There's nothing 'black' about the movie, other than it's mostly at night and dark = scary. So the only reason they named it 'black' christmas is cause it's the opposite of white christmas, which in most people's minds is a good thing. So it just perpetuates the idea that 'black' = bad and 'white' is good.
it's along the same lines as calling any aggressive/dangerous variation of a species 'africanized' (africanized bees).
again, not too big of a deal. I just think it's funny.

Yeah, if you're a complete ignoramus. If you go see a movie thinking it's about black people celebrating Christmas JUST because of the title, you deserve to get what's coming to you upon actually seeing the film. You're also a complete ignoramus if you don't know ANYTHING about a movie, and start assuming things about it because of the title.
and nothing to doubt.
