I find it interesting how you ditch friends that stop being interesting or entertaining to you. You can't even see how self centered it is.. I mean, it makes perfect sense in your head, doesn't it? Why bother spending time on someone who doesn't tickle your fancy? I'll tell you why... maybe it's because those friends happen to be the ones that know how to really care for you. Maybe it's because if you actually allowed yourself to be exposed to those friends, they would enrich your life and help you see a whole new side to things that you've never been willing to consider. Now I am forced to sit back and watch you surround yourself with these fun loving, funny people who really only care about you because you're hip now. Can't you see that you are creating a domino effect of personalities around yourself? One day the right (wrong) event will trigger one, and that one will go to another, who will go to another, and before you know it, all your friends have fallen away. I've seen it before, and I don't want to see it again. You know, there are people in your life that you've admired. You wish you could have what they have... yet, when they try to share how they got there, you turn a cold shoulder. I don't say this to judge you... I've been where you are before, and I don't blame you... I say this because I don't want you to endure the fallout. Now I can't even boot and setup from the install disc cause the cd drive is crapping out also. I was on the thing for 4 hours last nite hoping the setup would go thru.

On the upside, now I can finally buy a new laptop...soon.
