i felt so bad for this one 3 year old boy today. his parents were such impatient, rude and angry people. during the whole session, his mom and dad did nothing but scream, shove and hit him. and for what?! not smiling. as if smacking him is gonna make him smile. i asked them to let me calm him down and he did. he sat there and smiled for the family portrait. for his individual pictures, he starting running around. the dad pushed the boy into the ground and started yelling at me for not snapping continuously. first of all, the kid was crying! secondly, i can't shoot continuously cause the lights need a few seconds to come back up....MORON. nothing will show up in the pictures if i shoot that way. my coworker had to tell him to back off cause i was ready to tell the stupid ahole off. i told the dad it would take 40 minutes to upload and he went off on me yet again. the little boy held my hand out of nowhere while his dad barked at me for the waiting time. i felt my heart sink when i looked at him. then, he smacked his son for refusing to let go of me. i wish i could take him home....i can't even imagine the crap he goes through at his own home.

i don't understand how people like that could be parents. i just don't.......*sigh*

I should have went w/ my gut feeling and said no. Now it's too late. You asked and I accepted. My mind was telling me to say no but my heart did the opposite. Everyone's happy, congratulating and celebrating. I should be happy. But why is it that I feel so alone and empty? How was I suppose to tell you that I'm not ready? My boyfriend knows this guy, a "friend", who's a total prick. He used to say mini cooper about me so the boyfriend cut him out, whatever. Then he comes crying back and apologizing, saying he's turned over a new leaf and isn't like that anymore. Okay fine, I decide to give this guy another chance.

I hate my college, the people, the profs, the classes and everything about it. Who do they think they are, stupid ivy leaguer wannabes. Every single one of them is a disgusting debauched hypocrite pretending to be oh so good students . my prof are either sadists or they just don't care. It's not enough to know their lectures back to back and be able to zip through homework problems to get an A anymore, no you gotta be able to read their minds or find a way the cheat i guess. It's like they are so bored with their banal academic job that there's nothign else to do except thinking up useless research projects to get grants and make life hellish for students. Best times of my life my butt, college feels like hell and every single day i feel like a dog trapped in one of those learned helplessness experiments where no matter what they do they get shocked anyway, I feel exactly that way just like an animal surviving day to day

i shouldn't have gone here just because they gave me a full ride and it was convenient

My best friend's dad just passed away. It was so sudden that no one was prepared for him to have even be taken to the hospital. I feel terrible because people were asking me how her dad was doing and I kept saying "he's doing a little bit better". My other friend's dad passed away just last year and it seemed like a different situation. He wasn't very close to his dad and he seemed to have been going through a lot along with it. Now though my best friend she was pretty close to her dad. I don't know what to do. I know I should be there for her and I will be but I don't want to bug her if she doesn't want me to be around. I've always been rather awkward in social situations and right now it's making me wonder what is the right thing to do.
