my instructor's pissing me off. Yes I did try to turn it in within that last 10 minutes that I had, but that's why you designed a date limit. Technically 11:50 is still a valid time, so I don't know what he's b!tching about. Do I feel guilty for trying to throw it in last minute? Yes.. But if I was told to do it beforehand, I would have. Therefore, I have no empathy for you. You designed a time that that the submission is valid, and you lied to me that it was actually valid till that day, but you know what? You emailed me back 10 effin days later. Have YOU thought about how late you were responding to things? Yes, it is an online class, but online doesnt equate to lazyness. Your lazy ass can try to make the class better than to through me some lame ars sarcastic response. Lost poetry? Puh-leeze. Go to your mama and whine about your lost poetry. It's your fault that you designed the thing to end before the time that it actually should have ended. Or why da eff are you lying to students about the due dates?

I decided not to post this in the L&R thread because I just feel like venting.

I hate being single. But sometimes I don't mind and I even forget..until I hear about an aquaintences' recent engagement. Or realize that during the chilly weekends, I have nothing to do and nobody to do it with because all my friends are cozy indoors vegging on the couch with their significant others.

Sometimes I pride myself in not being afraid to be alone and single. I pride myself in the fact that I have standards for a boyfriend and I'm strictly adhering to them and not settling. At least I'm not fighting everyday like my friends..at least I don't have to face the reality of falling out of love with my mate and being too scared to tell him..or vice versa..or dating someone I'm not too into just for the sake of getting over my ex..or just to have somone to call at night and go on dates with...or any of the other dysfunctional yet seemingly normal/common issues my friends in relationships are having.

But..at other times, it hits me REALLY HARD that I AM SINGLE. Oh so verrry single..like not even a "potential". The guys that I tend to like and be interested in..are only initially interested and take no further steps to further pursue a relationship..meanwhile the guys that are "good for me"..are of course, guys that I feel nothing for I tell myself..well most of my friends are just settling and "being with the ones that love them" since they can't be with the ones they truely love..I don't think I have it in myself though..that level of tolerance..or the abiliy to lie to myself and that other person and be in an emotionally hollow relationship just to avoid being alone..and on the other hand..why can I get guys attracted to me..but not truely want to pursue something serious? I've tried being myself..being a toned down version of myself..using a few tactics here and there that I've seen work for others..maybe I'm just giving off the wrong vibe to the wrong guys? Maybe someone people are MEANT to be single..like me

What's the point. what's the point of communicating if no matter what you say it feels like the other person is thinking down on you? If they're always missing your point. If you might be in the same book but always on a different page, and even if you're on the same page, you're on a different paragraph, and even if you're on the same paragraph you realize wtf you're each reading it in two seperate languages.
