Firstly, I just want to say that I AM NOT ATTEMPTING TO BASH ON EITHER GROUP or otherwise, infact I am fans of BOTH GROUPS. :x so there.

Anyways. So if you guys have noticed, DBSG is much much much more popular then BigBang in Korea & such (don't know about the US, but i'd assume its the same?) However, most DBSG fans claim they love DBSG cus of "their talent, not looks" but then look at BigBang. (I'm not just directing this toward only bigbang, to the other really talented underrated groups in korea) They're not as popular, they barely make the top charts, yet they're JUST AS TALENTED, maybe more. BigBang can DANCE just as well as DBSG can, BigBang can SING just as well as DBSG can, & they can sure as hell RAP better. BigBang members are also younger then DBSG but not as good looking, I guess? in that pretty way SO if you like people for talent, then theres a lot more groups/singers that should be more popular +0+;; I'm kinda rambling but yea, thats what I wanted to say. o.o

well the thing is, DBSG has been out longer then big bang. It would have to take awhile until big bang were to beat dbsg. And besides big bang just came out THIS year dbsg debuted like in 2003 - 2004? I dunno but yeah.

but actually..i think BIG BANG is the most pop and talented and well known new comers right now...
i mean they've release 3 singles and an album and holding their first concert already...
and its only been like what...5-6 months...??

DBSK and BIG BANG have different style though..cant really compare and yeah..DBSK have been out longer

bigbang just debut.. and dbsk been in the industry for a longer time hence more time for ppl to come to like them
bigbang gaining popularity in rocket-speed too..
so u trying to say that bigbang should be as popular because in your opinion, they're both equally talent wise.. ?
remember, talent is more of in personal referance ..
even if you are extremely talented, it takes time and effort to reach the top or popularity in this case

DBSG worked hard for what they are today. BigBang only officially had their single out in September. You need experiences like DBSG. And 3 years to work up a huge fanbase, thats not easy. :x

@yeahjusmeh: Yup i agree man. DBSK is have been out longer so we should give Big Bang some time^^ And i also love both groups hehe.

And each group has their own talents so we must respect that. And I don't really care if DBSK can't rap. That's not really much of their thing.

Plus different companies too.

They've only debuted a few months ago right?
Most of my friends and cousins don't even know about them yet.

In my opinion looks always play a part other than talent whether you are consciously aware of it or not.
I think a vast majority of DBSK fans are young teenage fangirls (of course not all) so physical features plays a part, you would be lying if you said you ONLY like them for their talent. I think if you give Big Bang time they will get as popular as DBSK since DBSK debuted way before they did.
