Hello! I started listening to some industrial music and wanted to know more about the industrial/goth music scene in the U.S. Anyone familiar with this type of music?
Are there any big sites or forums about this type of music?
Which bands are good?
Thank you!!!

If you understand French, here is a very good site : http://www.gutsofdarkness.com dealing with dark and experimental music - including goth and indus but also noise, classical gothic, metal and so on.
I'm not really used to labels and genres, but if you want real industrial music go for Einstürzende Neubauten (http://www.neubauten.org/).
Laibach is good too (http://www.laibach.nsk.si/).
Softer and more "metal", you have Nine Inch Nails (http://www.nin.com) and Ministry (http://www.ministry.nu/).
If you want something more gothic, try Virgin Black (http://www.virginblack.com/) but its no more industrial
I'm sorry, i don't know all the electro-indus scene.
Take a look on the label Cyclic Laws (http://www.cycliclaw.com/); they are doing some industrial-ambiant music, and most of the tim its great.
(and their CD packaging are cool)

ummm... i like Nine Inch Nails and Marilyn Manson. if you like something with a kick, try Mindless Self Indulgence... even though they are more of an electro/punk/techno/sorta thing.

I recommend Bauhaus. They are good!

I really don't know why I hadn't thought about Skinny Puppy...
I love it. And most of their videos are wonderful.

It reminds me they just released their new album.
I didn't listen to it yet, but a friend told me it's good.
