Mines would be the mecha animes. Most of the stuff with the giant robots. Because I don't like the premise for most of them and I hate when they get all political and crap (like the Gundam animes). I can only see so many giant robots. Then I also hate whichever has too many characters with sad pasts. But some may be an exception.

How could you not like Political-type anime? It's bombin. But there are some political/mecha anime that are crap. Such as Big-O.

I dislike Romance + Drama anime. Repetitive and easily becomes boring. I, for one, believe that it's more complex than political themes.
However, I can do Romance if there's comedy in it...even though most has no complete morals to it.

Don't like harem anime much and mecha. It depends...prolly the only one I like is G Gundam, but thats prolly cause I like the characters (Saisaishi!) not the actual robot fights -- plus I really liked the sappy ending, haha.

I don't mind gundam anime like Fullmetal Panic, Neon Genesis Evangelion, and Gundam Wing...but after that it gets ridiculous. Fullmetal Panic is actually really entertaining, while Evangelion is popular but can get boring, and I haven't actually seen Gundam Wing but apparently it is very good. I don't mind hentai, it makes me giggle. I really like political and psychological anime. So...what really gets me...is the stereotypical girly anime. Anime is meant to be out there and interesting and different, but when it's about a girl with big, shiny eyes you likes this guy who is tall, dark, and mysterious and blahblahblah. It's a DRAB. I mean, come on, spice it up! Luckily, most anime have plot twists, but some are just cut and dry T-shaped men and tiny, emotional blobs of girl. It gets on my nerves Dx!

BUT, the only 'mecha' anime that I loved watching (and I'm pretty sure you would too, kb, if you ever gave it a chance), is Dual! Parallel Trouble Universe! It's by the creators of Tenchi Muyo so it's an automatic yay for me . It's more about the characters and their relations than it is the mecha. The best part about it is that it's only a short 16 episode mini series.

I hate the nerd gets girls one.. they're so.. blah.. the girls are really annoying usually in those one. I also hate the ones where you can see the female's underwear and they have really unusually large breast.

Actually I liked Eureka 7. So that is an exception to what I said for mecha.

I also don't like when an anime doesn't have that much action and not as much as the talking.

low budget anime with crappy art and animation is hard to watch too.

I don't like the giant robot genre, especially Evangelion. Gundam Wing Endless Waltz was the only one that I thought was bearable. Samurai 7 did have giant mechs, but the protagonists never used them so that was okay too.
