and I feel like a spoiled brat.

It's a Nissan Altima 2006 2.5s.

Don't get me wrong, I think it's a nice car, and I really appreciate them buying this for me. But I would've been O-K with a used car, as long as it were fuel-friendly and cheap. And then they are putting in leather seats. And I was like..... blink.gif. I'm kind of afraid of driving it for fear of dents, scratches, etc.

This is the car. It's exactly the same, I think.

This is the exact car. Same color and everything. Is it considered "attractive" in the car world? Just wondering.

Is this car considered a "good" car in terms of everything? Like the mileage? Safety? Is the mileage on this considered good? How good? It's 24 average for the city and 31 average for the highway.

It's also very shiny, and I like that. Does the shininess wear away though?

I know how you feel. I'm by no means a spoil brat, but my parents hand-me-down a Lexus IS300 (and i've only got my license for less than 2 months) it's not super new or anything but i rarely use it because I'm way too afraid of anything happening to it. I actually drive my family's very old 1990 honda civic a lot more since i really don't have to worry about it at all. Then again, i'm sure that your parents think you're responsible enough to buy that car for you smile.gif Have fun driving it biggrin.gif

ps: Sorry i didnt really help with your questions... tongue.gif
absence makes the heart grow fonder

I have that car with the same color but a 2.5SL. It's an average car that scores average in every aspect in terms of how cars are rated. The mileage is average, the looks is average, etc. The good thing about it is that it is really roomy. It seems to be pretty safe, but the stock tires blow chunks. Also, if you have the automatic transmission, there seems to be a lag between first and second shift sometimes. The paint is weak, so be careful of scratches. In terms of physical appeal, don't worry about what others think, as long as you like it. It's definitely not a sports car, so don't get ideas about wanting to go fast. It is a decent sedan and does its job fairly well. Anyways, congrats and hope your car lives long!
I want to be the one in front of you...just like that guy.

I like the 06 front end but the 07 rear end. Why did Nissan have to make the front end of the 07 so fat and buldged.

yes it will over time. The way to keep it shiny is to wax your car every month or so. Go to an autoshop like Kragen's or Autozone or Pep Boys (or heck even Target, Walmart, etc) head to the car section and look for wax products.
