hey~
i don't know if this belongs here but i was wondering what the best internet service would be. as in quality and price. my roomates and i live in an apt and we need to get internet connection but we're not sure which one is good for us. there's four of us so we can't split the price but we don't want anything to expensive. and we just need internet too not cable. i'd appreciate any tips, thanks~!

www.dslreports.com compares ISPs...
but of the ones i've used, out of comcast, time warner, road runner, sbc yahoo, verizon dsl, and verizon fios... verizon fios takes the cake. if it's available, JUMP ON THAT mini cooper
edit: most apartment complexes have their own internet for residents, if you're looking to save money you should see what they have

well lets see....u should check ur area to see which cable company has control
in my area (west la) it is time warner now....couple months back it was comcast.....and even further back it was media one but thats because of company take overs
anyways....if its jsut two or 3 of u DSL should be fine....might be sbc/att dsl
they have a plan thats 20$ a month
but if a couple of u download a lot i recommend cable, cuz the place i live with theres 5 of us guys and we have the 20$ cable....it lags when we are all doing something, so yea....go for cable they sometimes have specials on installation and cable+cable tv, etc....

i live in wisconsin and i use sbc yahoo dsl. it's really good in my opnion. we have the $20 one and it's worth it's price and maybe even more. i've heard of other people having really sucky dsl.
