heyy..
im trying to join some files together and i hav a feeling i didnt do i ti right.. can some1 give me step by step instructions on how to join the files together and tips too and things to make sure.. plzzz

i've only used hj split a few times but i think i've got the hang of it.

first, you change the extention to .001 and .002 and so on.
then, you open hj split and click on the join button
click on the input (or something like that)button and they join.

try 7zip (www.7-zip.org),
it´s like winrar, but its joins sometimes files together, i used evry time


for hjsplit, you have to be sure you have ALL splitedfiles AND dont chance anything

(version 2.2)
start hjsplit
press join
press input file
select the file *example*.001 and confirm
press start

^ also make sure all da files like, .001 .002 ---> .006 etc are in the same folder with the same name.

hjsplit will automatically detect the files and join them together.

Just as a note:

Sometimes the joining process only kicks in if you extract the FIRST split file.

7zip works this way in that you have to extract the first file, and it automatically joins all the files together. Extract any other file and it just fails completely.
