would either of these laptops be goood for playing games like Counter-strike 1.6, MapleStory, Gunbound, GunZ, or possiblly Halo?
i need any expert opinions before buying please.

None of the links that you gave are working, but assuming the laptops you were looking at are fairly new ones, then there should be no problem. The games you mentioned are not graphically intense.

You don't need an XPS to play Maple Story... IMO it's just a waste of money. XPS laptops are for hardcore gamers running Oblivion or Rainbow Six: Vegas.

When it comes to something lightweight and powerful enough for gaming, instantly I would have to say the Acer Ferrari 4000 laptop. My cousin bought this laptop and it rocks, one, its powerful and yet lightweight enough to go most places.
