has anyone downloaded the new aim? i remember when they had aim triton and ppl said it was crap so im wondering if this version is bad too and if i should js stick to my old version (major run on, yo). haha.

AIM triton was terrible, but this is usable.

The new AIM version is great! It has plenty of new functions, which makes using AIM more worthwhile
I just love sending IMs to offline people =P

I admit. I'm obsessed with Aim 6.0. I played around with the new functions for like an hour when I first had it. Then I spent more time running around telling my friends to get it [I convinced 3 out of 4] =). It's great. I just have to get used to the font being kind of odd. o_o

I also spammed so much to my friends using offline messaging and that cool splash smiley screen you get when you use a smiley. Haha, I'm easily amused. >.<

By the way, does anyone know how to make your font smaller? My font Arial 8 looks like Arial 12. ;.

You can get Aim 5.9 off the AIM website. Just look for the old version.

I use Trillian though, it runs AIM, MSN, Yahoo, IRC, etc... all in one program. It uses tabs and stuff too, offline messaging, supports plugins, skins, etc... and the best part is that it comes without all the ads and crap.

I love the new Aim 6.0 !! its almost like Aim triton but WAYY WAYY BETTER
Aim triton was really crappy&freaking confusing
but yea Aim 6 is good especially when i get to checkk how manyy IMs i get LOL i find that funny somehow

i dont like the font..but yes i'd hav to say its betterr than trintion
