at first i had no idea that the ticket required a mandatory court appearance so i sent them a check but it got returned in the mail with a notice. i'm guessing they extended my due date to clear the ticket because it was different than the original one. today, i tried to schedule a court appearance but they had no dates before the new due date. is the penalty for this suspension of license? >< or can i request for another extension since the first one wasn't on my call? if so, how? i'm confused on what to do in this situation because i can't get a court date before the due date.
so...am i screwed?
