i'm sure a lot of you know of the SPECIAL K diet, where you replace two meals with the special k cereal and eat one meal as you usually do. it says that it can help you lose up to 6lbs in 2 weeks, i think. i've started it and it really hasn't been easy
so i was wondering, has anyone tried this? and did you see any results?

my best friend and her mom have done it before, and it showed promising results. her mom lost a couple inches off her waist, and my friend lost a couple inches, too. But the mom was more "disciplined" in following the diet, so the results was a bit more obvious than my friend. =)
good luck!!

I saw those special k commercial..
well, if they say it works.. it must work.
I mean, they are whole wheat, right?
You're pretty much eating healthy carbs.
And.. just don't go overboard on those stuff. XD

How the hell do you get full from that?! I tried it, and I was still very hungry. It's like starving yourself!

all it really is, is a low calorie diet. you can do that with any other cereal with the same caloric content. you can try eating total cereal instead and i'm pretty sure it'll be the same. better yet, why not just eat fruits. cereal really isn't exactly healthy. i mean, when you eat a bowl of cereal and a cup of milk, that isn't a lot of calories. so when you reduce your caloric intake obviously you'll lose weight. you won't be losing weight if you're eating bowls and bowls of cereal per sitting.

it works. my mom and aunty did it before but being them they quit after 2 weeks lol. but they lost about 8lbs? around there. This diet causes you to be "overheated" so you need to drink a lot of water and healthy tea/soups. I did this diet also, but after I had food poisoning from takeout i stopped because for some reason it tasted nasty after my food poisoning cleared out.
i semi-recommend this diet if your just looking to do it short term. if you're looking for long term results, you'll ofcourse have to change your regular diet and lifestyle. Get exercise and eat properly. The natural way is always better than diets like these
