wow i didn't know about her possible English album as well as her new English song. I hope she succeeds because someone like Utada should definitely gain success in the US, i disliked her last English album Exodus ><

I can't say I hear anything unique in that song. It sounds like standard fair these days. There was an oddity to some of the lyrics:

Come back to me (Chorus)
Or you're one in a million

That just sounded rather odd to me. Let's hope this isn't a single she's hoping to capitalize on with American audiences. Her Exodus album has more of a club or niche appeal. So without knowing the other tracks it seems that she is trying to do a more general album.

She sounds like Mariah Carey? Maybe it's the way she's singing in the song? I don't know because I don't listen to Mariah's music that much.
