uh? a bin file is usually a cd image and should usually have a .cue file attached. I'm not sure what you are exactly trying to get at.

mount it as a loopback device, like so:
CODE
mount file.bin /mnt/cd -o loop

be sure you have correct privileges to mount!

what is supposed to be in the file? a BIN file is usually a cd image, like an ISO, NRG(nero image)... but a cd image that's only 1kb... sounds very odd.

Download Alcohol 120%.
Put a blank CD in your CD burner drive.
Open up the software and search for the .bin file.
Double click it.
Then copy it onto the disk, I don't know what it exactly says on the menu but you should be able to find it easily.

All you really need to do is burn the .bin file onto a blank CD. You don't even need Alcohol 120%.

Here's a site that has all the info you need.

Why waste a whole CD-R for 1KB?

it's actually just a blank file! end of story... it was a file that contained no data... and was only saying 1kb because it rounded to it... the memory that was only being taken up was just the name of the file itself...

Why not use a CD-RW instead?

Anyways, the site I provided tells you what it is and shows how to burn it or whatever.
